Firstly this isn't the best PC can do, go back and look at some of the development diaries for the PC version, where the developers even say they could have pushed it a lot more but knew that in the future they wanted it to be able to run on consoles (think the diary is number 4 or 5). then you also have to remember that ultra isn't here. Thirdly if you but this video at max res but only have a 17" lcd then there won't be as big a difference compared to the two running at the...
Would be cool if true, bully 2 (yes please). Also adrenaline pills that make time slow down, seems like that would be some Max Payne 3 influence there. Will probably turn out fake - but if I hear Rockstar or a magazine mention someone called Adrian then I will be back here.
Looks good, hard to compare on youtube though when certain PCs will go up to 1080p. And even then the size of what you are watching it on won't give an accurate representation.
I like this new way, I remember when fear released their multiplayer for free (think it was fear combat) to try and get people to buy the single player.
Whats crytek got to do with it?
I hope this doesn't get old after the 50th time you've seen the cinematic, although I suppose the real question is if most people will still be playing the multiplayer that long.
This is sounding really good.
Ye I am going along with that theory of the ending as it definitely seems better and was pretty close to what I thought when I finished, and expanded new views that I hadn't thought of. That said, it still means there wasn't proper closure as the game ended in the middle of a battle.
Agreed Mystic, I have it on PC and will get the free upgrade. I also own a 360 and PS3 but would never buy it again as "the PC version is the definitive one". That money could be used for another game that I would never have got the chance to play.
I think the latest CD has some good guitar tracks

Mass effect aliens don't speak English, it was explained in the first game, it had something to do with a universal translator.
I bought the other assassins creed games on 360 and PS3, but have just recently got revelations on PC, I found the controls manageable, but still not as good as the console versions.I think this is because you have to hold down more keys to sprint/free-run which makes it uncomfortable after longer periods of time. Yet something like batman was the other way around.
Capcom have a habit of releasing PC versions later on. So I am sure it will eventually come.
I wasn't expecting as big a leap from AC2 to the other two because they seemed like expansion packs, with minor improvements (they were certainly lengthy and very good quality). AC3 seems like a big leap because they have been working on it the whole time and with a new setting and main character, it looks to easily be the best one. I can't wait to see some footage.
From what I have read yes there will. Looks like there are some huge battles where two armies fight each other.
"I would stop crying that consoles hold gaming back"
"the graphical difference isn't that big compared to the jump from PS2 to PS3"
Uh your sentences just prove the point that they are holding back further advances. By now games should have had as big or even bigger leap than Ps2 to PS3 but because games sell more on console, developers cater to it.
Hmm then they would have to cut some of the Tommy missions out, plus there is all that stuff to do with the plane that was in the first game. It would be interesting to see how they rework it. I would definitely prefer that to it being cancelled.
That will be a real shame if true, as the e3 demo looked great. And the plans with the open world looked like it would be a lot of fun and lengthier than the average shooter.
If it was CDProjekt then it would be free, otherwise this will be paid dlc.
