"It was only on "give me a challenge" difficulty too.. Not even trying on GoW difficulty lol"
I can't even get past the first draughr encounter during the tutorial on god of war difficulty so i can only imagine how it would be to fight a valkyrie, let alone their queen^^
"Any game can be single player if you think about it - playing on your own is single player, too."
But your experience is heavily dependable on what your human team members are doing, which isn't the case with sp games, story driven or not.
And how many mp games are able to pull off what gta online, fortnite, overwatch etc did? It's true though, what phil likes about these gaas games is, that the risk is pretty low because it cost a lot less to develope these games yet they can generate high revenue IF they become the next big thing.
Personally I rather have publishers/ console manufacturers take a risk and offer me high quality games, than throw those low content games at full price or slightly below at...
For me it was a waste of money.

"It really is a next-gen console, but they're smart by putting it in the xbox one family. now all they have to do is fully optimize games for it from the ground up."
A next gen console with that underpowered cpu, huh? Will be easy to outdo them with a real nextgen console.
Be kind, he seems to be very young.
"One of the things I worry about…are the single-player story-driven games. It’s hard when so much of the gameplay that happens on a daily basis is on these games that are long and growing and service-based, and then you get a smaller single-player game and what…HOW DOES IT FIND ITS AUDIENCE when so many hours are taken up [already]?" -Phil Spencer
I guess god of war found its audience, just like uncharted 4 and horizon did and spiderman will do. Make good games ph...
More like record setting road to utter disappointment, based on many years of microsoft e3's.
Would be more then happy if ms finally proves me wrong this time.

"It's been like over a year since the xbox got a decent TRUE exclusive title."
The last TRUE EXCLUSIVE released in 2015 if i'm not mistaken. If you meant CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE you might be right.
I played the beta. And because there doesn't seem to be much more content in the final version, i'd say yes.^^
If it would be high class and fun games as a service, things would be "ok" . But as long asthey deliver low content and quality gaames it will just feel like they want to make you pay for free 2 play games and that's not ok.
Ofcourse it did. Actually it keeping the other half is a miracle.

"The problem is the majority Xbox's fanbase - the American patriot red necks. Will they play these what they call weebo games?
The Japanese's westernization of their games was a disaster and will never work."
Stating that all xbox players are patriotic rednecks is utter nonsense. They obviously have an unhealthy and fanatic loyalty to a company which doesn't even bother to put in some effort because ms knows they have a bl...
Best advice ever!
I play on the device which has the most AAA exclusives i'm interested in, which happens to be ps4. If i had more time for gaming, i'd also own a switch.
Don't need to have the best graphics and performance, i'm fine if both are decent.
Yep if there weren't exclusive games, sony and microsoft would start an insane arms race for constantly having the most powerful console, because without the lineup there'd be no real difference between the different console except hardware specs. We already got a glimpse of this. When ms had almost nothing worthwile exclusive for years, with nothing to talk about on the horizon, they just went with releasing the most powerful console.
It's a beast! (Ps4)
Generic games don't need to be copied
But ms said that xbox has it?
Yes i bought it and almost never really used it, before i sold it again. I had much more fun with my wiiU which i still use from time to time.
