The day I take a day off of work to play a video game, better be the day after I retire.
Putting food in my family's mouth, comes WAY before a video game.
I am curious though as to how Square will handle 360 media, and PS3 media.

Impressive numbers. I really hope this game lives up to the hype, because IMO Halo series is not as great as everyone says it is.
I am looking forward to this game either way, but Forza 2 has my money long before this title will.
I agree with this article that it can help you in "racing" situations. But most people are not going to consider the best turn in point to hit thier apex properly when driving to get groceries. Only nerds like me do that :).
On the other hand... Tiger Woods actually helped my golf game by helping learn the in's and out's of each club.

I wouldn't put it past Sony to surprise a lot of us.
However Wii has yet to show any signs of slowing down. It's a monster.
I was going to get this for PS3, figuring they would come out around the same time.
Guess I will pick it up for my 360 after all.
Worth buying for dedicated racers that get a thrill from good competition.
I would suggest picking up Forza 1 and giving it a go. I bought Forza 1 used for $5.00. Best 5 spot I have EVER spent.

I think where this is going, is that the circuit board on the PS3 is just built better.
The 360 needed some work in this area, and by the looks of it has done a good job impoving.

Ever since Speed took WRC off the air, I have been playing Colin 4 on my 360 to get my rally kicks.

Any word on how well this game plays with the 360 steering wheel?
I don't think so for arcade racers.
You require much quicker controls in arcade racers.
When your going for sim racers, your going to want the full rotation of the steering wheel.
It's all personal prefernce. It's not needed by any means, just simply a tool to use to help "increase" the gameplay.
You can invision a wonderful virtual world where even "air" exist!

Think of it as playing baseball without the proper mit.
Sure you can play but it's just not the same.
Steering wheel for a sim racer makes the game 100 times better IMO.
However I can't say the same for a arcade racer.
Just like they said rumble was "not going to happen".
There is always room for discussion. However this is not set in stone, so take anything said with a grain of salt.
Although it would be nice, your asking for a lot.
It takes serious muti processor servers to render that sort of information.
I am sure the PS3, and 360 can handle it but would have to give up the power for something else.
You would have amazing looking grass, at the cost of the rest of the game looking not quite up to par.
Last I had heard, Sony was still losing money on every PS3. With the dropping of the 20Gb version, and the manufacturing process getting cheaper... they may be losing "less" money on every PS3.
However Sony is thinking long term. They can lose profit now if they can get a larger install base, similar to what the 360 has now. Then they could make thier money back in accessories.
I am guessing Sony will make a killing when they release the Rumble sixax...
Odd that Hero's is going HD-DVD when Sony has advertised the PS3 twice in the show.
