This was never the game sony signed the exclusive contract with anyway, this should of never been ever thought as - as 100% PS3 exclusive.

"As Jack mentioned in the interview with Geoff, this franchise is not LA Noire, but something all new."
Thank you, and good night.
Pretty good reasons, the xbox 360 is a good system. Can't argue with 1 and 2, because it is cheaper and it does have a larger library of games. But i do feel sony has got it right with the playstation store with full retail releases of a few PS3 games and PSP games and all the unique stuff they have their internal studios make, it is just an opinion yes - but what would the world be without opinions?
I originally thought that too Shane, but i went and looked around and i couldn't find articles confirming that - link?
Word yeah.. word of mouth sells games.. not many though.
It was that Agent-X guy from this site who written the article.
Uncharted has sold just over 2 million.
It isn't our fault, the hardcore gamers that use the internet regularly to know about these games is actually a small percentage of the user base of the PS3.
It is sony's fault for not telling people about the game, i knew people at college a week before kz2 release that didn't even know what killzone 2 was - they're gamers, they're on their PS3 all the time - however, they don't use these type of websites.
Sony needs to let these people know about the games, infact ...
Well, if god of war 3 comes out this year - then that will easily be the biggest game of the year for me.
The nintendo platforms don't have the correct audience for these types of games, hence the reason they're not selling as much as other games on the system.
If the recent worldwide sales announcement is to be believed, then they have already profited on the game. Which is why sony are shouting about it, it is a first party game so they can turn a profit much easier than paying over the odds to get a 3rd party exclusive title for little return.
Anyway yeah - not to get too side tracked, it is nice to see they are commited to supporting it after launch.
I bet they announce this at E3, they keep saying this is the year of the PSP.
I'd rather them deliver something, than deliver nothing :D
anh_duong, 22m PS3's and 29M xbox 360's going off official press releases from sony and microsoft.
@ The actual topic, yes - i think with a decent price cut it could outsell it. If you take away the sales the xbox got in that year headstart then the PS3 would actually be slightly ahead. So it is clear the PS3 can technically outsell it.
I really wish sony didn't get rid of their old marketing contract with that company they were with for 15 years.
The same guys that made these adverts:
http://www.gametrailers.com...
They got rid of them at the start of 2008 iirc, right when the marketing just dropped off totally.
Have you not seen the full, leaked footage of heavy rain gameplay? It is amazing, you can't tell if you are in a cutscene or gameplay thanks to the fact there is no loading screens between the two and the camera angles are used in the same way on both gameplay and cutscenes.
No, of course i don't. I just love talking about it because i wish that i had it.
The PS2, PS3 and old X360 platinum cases have been ugly - i hope sony try and improve theirs now, the cases, for some reason really put me off even going near platinum titles.
I just have a feeling MW2 will be more of the same.. maybe have some great new stuff, but i don't think it'll be enough to keep ME interested.
The library in my college rents and sells games.. but they're all the very worst of the PS2 games, nothing good and nothing from the current gen, apart from the odd wii game.
Those are some of the reasons that i choose the PS3 as my main gaming platform.
Nothing against the 360 - i like the console, i'm currently enjoying halo wars more than i expected to - but it is just the type of experience the PS3 gives that makes me gravitate (sp?) towards it.
