MGS4 is - and has the most impressive cutscenes ever seen in a game! :p
That has nothing to do with it, they were all rendered in the game engine, it is the same this time around with uncharted 2.
The whole "same gun" and black screen thing has nothing at all to do with it being rendered in real-time on the game engine, they just chose to reset the character models and such (guns etc) by default in the cutscenes.
Yeah, the melee in the beta is amazing.. Going behind someone, breaking their neck and just leaving them on the ground... or climbing up a wall and there is an enemy on the ledge above, then yanking them down. Or being the other way around, you're on the ledge and you see someone climbing up the wall, you can kick them off..
This multiplayer is really well done.. expected it to be just a tacked on part of the game.. but then i started playing it and remember this was naughty dog ...

Honestly, i currently play iPhone games on my two train journeys each day but i only ever play them for around 5 minutes before i get bored and just carry on listening to a podcast.
When the PSP Go was shown and i saw how small it is, i knew this would be the replacement.
The iPhone isn't on the same level as the DS or PSP when it comes to real games and honestly, i wish people would stop acting as if it was.
He said what most of the fanboys on this site should be saying. They all had a good show and as a gamer, he is excited about some of the stuff sony showed too.

He also makes a good point about them needing to make more of a show, even though i prefered sony's conference - i enjoyed microsofts conference because of how well they presented it, you know - they made it a show. Sony and the rest of them made it a conference....
Capcom have the best multiplatform engine for the current gen consoles, its amazing.

This is great, i hope microsoft continue to put more full games on xbox live and i also hope sony finish what they started, you know - putting more full games on the store.

I'm a massive GT fan, but i'll agree - the enviroments have never been GT's strongest point - though, in the latest E3 trailer, they look like they have improved on them alot.
Anyway, i'll almost certainly be getting Forza 3 on release now that there isn't an 09 release date (so far) for GT5, it looks great.
We've known about the edge tools for ages, killzone 2 was the first game to take advantage of them.

The other "exclusive" titles that went multiplatform were never in contracts with sony which is how microsoft managed to get them too.
Sony actually have contracts making this game exclusive to their system, so unless there is something about the contract expiring a year or so after the game comes out or something like that, then i doubt MS could get their hands on it.
No, when sony made this deal in 2007 they said that the game they were put a contract up with is not La noire.
Oh and LA Noire is Team Bondi, Agent is Rockstar North.
Sony, be smart and pay as much as you can to keep this one.
Not because i want to keep it away from xbox owners - not at all, but infact it is so embarassing to see so many potentially great things to slip through sonys hands - this can't be one of them.
I'm sure many people will agree, that when a game is being made exclusivily for one platform the quality will more than likely be higher than that if it was being developed for more than one platforms.
