I was doing 3d gaming, fancy electronic 3d glasses and all, back in 1989 in my SEGA-MasterSystem. It was fun for about 5 mins. I can only imagine the price of the tv that'll allow you to play 3d without glasses.

I agree. But theese (pseudo)reporters are pandering to their base that's all. Alot of litle kids are insecure and don't really form opinions of their own and some need that feedback to be more secure about their opinions. What they don't realize is that they're making older gamers not take them srsly anymore. We'll see how that plays out in the future.
If you want a faster cpu on it it'll pass the $1000 mark. HP and TOSHIBA are making better lappys for the same price imo. I have to use Apple cause of my work. One of my laptops is a MacPro and it works silky smooth, but overpriced aswell.

Don't get it twisted. Valve is without a doubt a PC game developer. Some fanboys make it seem like Valve suports consoles, but that's not true. 360's orangebox doesn't get all the updates and they take a long time to get them. Valve games on PC get updated weekly and they give you direct costumer suport. I ony buy Valve for PC though. But this is why it's important to make game developing accesible, to get more people on board.

It's like the heart of the industry is shifting from japan to USA, much like it shifted from USA to japan in the 80's. I know it's off-topic. But it's very intresting watching Valve,Epic,Bungie,Rockstar,Nau ghtyDog,etc etc, basically be the driving force this gen on consoles and pc. It's also intresting how Nintendo and Capcom are always on top of their game when theese realities come about.
My warranty is up, but if I have to send it in again(if cheap), I'll do exacly that.
I've heard of some people that send it with the original box, but don't get it back in the same original box, but in a regular mail box with bubble-wrap.
I don't live in U.S.A., but I live in america and have had rrod. A UPS guy knocks on your door, Yells out "UPS TO PICK UP PACKAGE". You open the door, he pulls out a box, you slide your harddrive-less xbox, sign, close the door and go back to maturbating or reading n4g or whatever. It's VERY VERY convinient and it sucks that they're not doing it anymore. I haven't had another rrod so I wouldn't know. But it can't be that expensive to send it...Is it?

They will get the most out of every platform. But I hate how pc game devs always call conslole versions "dumbed down" or "distilled" like they say in the article. For known hardware reasons, consoles won't have the same grfx. And they tend to slow down the game a little for analog stick use. But overall it's the same thing. Same missions, same everything. Yeah and every time the litle kid played it he always fell out off sync.LOL. The acting was horrible lol. Corny stuff, straight out off the micky mouse club lol. Funny as hell. But acordind to the press it really does work, and it looks amazing.
