As far as review embargo’s go this is the best they’ve ever done, Bethesda have a nasty habit of sending review copies out at the very last minute
I’m a little taken back by how mixed the reviews are. I’m personally looking forwards to it however. It seems a common negative is the unexpected clunkiness of exploration through a distinctly unseamless world. Lots of menus and loads screens between the gameplay and travel sequences. I suppose we won’t know how well we’ll each individually take to it until we try it for ourselves. I’m hopeful I won’t find it all to intrusive and will still enjoy the game, I’m trying to manage my expectations...
I agree completely, it genuinely looks the nothing more than a fantasy war frame, really doesn’t matter if digital extremes want it to likened to one of the most popular games in recent history, certainly looks good in the title of an article such as this.
If there aren’t any vehicles on the planets than I certainly don’t want to spend five days traipsing across the surface of some barren dust bowl of a planet.
Check this out it’s long but I just put it up

I loved the base building in fallout 4, I’m excited to do that in space, but I’m more excited to build a space ship. It’s sounds epic.
That being said I’m really managing my expectation, don’t want to get burned on this one, trying to maintain composure and expect problems so if it is good I can pretend to be pleasantly surprised. It’s complicated
Wasn’t the second one on psvr1? I mean…😂 I totally could’ve imagined it
Psvr 2?
I’m actually blown away it’s still in production!!
There’s a real distinct visual connection between oblivion-fallout 4-starfield
It’s creation engine 2.0, an iterative upgrade rather than a new engine. We need to manage our expectations visually
If you don’t want to go in completely blind gameplay wise pick up divinity original sin 2, it’ll be super cheap and is incredible
I got mine at the very start of June and haven’t played a “flat” game since. I love it! I’m just buying games as the go on sale, this month I’ve got After the fall. When starfield comes out I’ll be moving back to the Xbox for that, then after that back to ps5 for baldurs gate. But there’s so many exciting psvr2 games on the horizon
It’s like they learned nothing from the gta trilogy fiasco.
Got to be a little concerned with how few 💩💩💩 rockstar seem to give these days
Got some destiny meets apex vibes
The ambiguity of that statement and buzzwordy nonsense nature say it all.
We should all be concerned 😂
Oh man, I bet that’s awesome. I’ve got a cheap steering wheel and pedals for Gran turismo and it’s so good in vr
This is really cool, it’s a shame they didn’t do more of this during the first 5 years of dreams. Demonstrates how powerful a tool it is. I kind of got the feeling puzzle types of games were really going to be the best use of dreams for putting together a whole complete game. More ambitious things never went beyond tech demos really. Or did they? I stopped really looking after a while
I’m pretty sure that’s not what people were saying when it first released. If it was better received we’d probably of seen a sequel.
I never played the original but the movement speed in all the trailers is really putting me off this
Prey was fantastic, 5/10 was a very strange anomalous score.
People are finding the ign 7/10 very hard to swallow and that’s why we’re seeing all the other international ign scores posted on n4g. Which incidentally are all a. Little higher
