I wouldnt say PS3 came out as a winner, it didnt lose either, but it shows that its not failing how some people would want to believe, saying that they may soon go off the market or some other random BS.

xbox live is great, makes everything real easy to use and get around, but I still find 50 bucks as a bit too much, when its services are similar to the free (inderior u might say) PSN. Just cause its affordable, doesnt mean it should be charged for.

i agree with pirate, development of new storage tech was known about even early in Dvd's life, but people embraced it, and stuff will continue to be made even after holographic discs. Avoiding to touch upon a medium is irrelevant, because this can be applied to everything.
