this game looks ok, but i dont like every single enemy being "organic" shooting at the makes crap come out instead of blood, which is what turns me off about dantes inferno as well. I understand theyre 'plant-ish' but it looks pretty weak, also the flying beasts and such look out of place, there are other ways to incorporate fantasy into a title that arent adding these final fantasy like monsters there, i feel like I should Nero their ass instead of shooting them, but thats the only...
if the titles are good why not? Resistance has had two (awesome) titles this generation within a small timeframe, if Bungie is able to do this then there should be no problem, although I think reach shouldnt be released next year, they should give it more dev time.

im only just seeing a lot of halo, halo wars last year, odst this year and the other one next year. But the marketing i see no problem with, people said it was being overhyped and yes i believe it was although its a great game, but the marketing was just fine, i believe more games should have movie level marketing if we want the gaming industry to grow. :D
