Is this your story. If it is I suggest you try a prepaid card. You can get 3 month and even 1 month card(I think) for cheap. Microsoft probaly doesnt want you to use the credit card to pay. If you can log into the account with a silver membership then I think you can just enter the prepaid code and it should give you your gold account back. As long as you can sign in to SILVER LIVE with the original gamertag then I think this should work.
My live accound just downgraded and went to a silver. he cant enter his creditcard information but can get to the account in xbox live silver? Im pretty sure all he has to do is log onto his silver account and put in a subscription code that you can buy all over the place.
But I would lve to get RE4 for 360. Re4 is the only RE that ive never played, I didnt have a gamecube or a wii, but I love all of the old ones and would love to play this in HD before re5 comes out.
I also think capcom needs to release the megaman X games in HD on the live arcade, but that probaly wont happen either.
I dont like it when some people have the maps and some dont cause there is usualy only a few playlists with them or you can only play with people who paid for them. In CoD4s case Id say it would be cool for some free maps since so many people bought the game. But thats the problem, its a big money opportunity for microsoft, IW, activision, and even sony too. I dont see that happening. Of the many people I know who only had a ps2 and have upgraded to this gen, most already have a 360. Of the people I know who had ps2/xbox(me included) all have gotten a 360. One person I know who only had a ps2 now has a ps3 cause it was given to him. Of course this is only what I've noticed and might not be the case all around. I also think many people will be glad to pick up a 360 and GTA for under the price of a ps3 alone. MASS EFFECT. I actually played that game and it may have had some small bugs, but nothing like this. Also mass effect was an awsome game, condemmed 2 is a good game that works fine on the 360. I think im starting to notice a trend. These stories must have some truth to them if they are bad for ps3 and they show up on this site.
the delusional people. I dont think sony can drop the price or their fellow bluray producers would be pretty upset that only the ps3 is selling. I didnt really like playing gears online much but I loved the single player. The game itsself is about having a squad of four characters. It isnt about big teams vs big teams. It isnt about running to your death cause you can just respawn either. If you think 5vs5 makes it weak or the 360 showing its limitations then you are dumb. The online game is 5vs5 cause the entire game itsself is about your four person squad. And no, it isnt a FPS either. I love 20vs20 css games but gears with eve...

but now Im pretty darn excited for this game. Ill probaly buy it day one and itll last till I get ninja gaiden. The online modes sound pretty awsome, co-op in this game could be really fun. Doing drive bys with your friends sounds cool.
they didnt have it so I rented DMC4. Im still looking foward to this game. Just because it has a cover system doesnt make it a gears clone. I guess every old 3rd person shoother, before cool cover systems, were clones of the first 3rdPS that let you crouch behind a crate. Cover systems are just the evolution of thirs person shooters.

sure some will but I dont see nearly as many doing it as many of you think. I know 2 people who only owned a ps2 who just recently bought a 360. One of my roomates still plays GH3 on his PS2, guess what, he wants a 360. I had a ps2/xbox but now that I have a 360 I wont be needing a ps3 for a while. For people who dont have a ps3 or a 360 and want one for GTA4, price will be the biggest factor. Either way this is going to help both systems.
