I stopped reading after it mentioned the xbox live problems from december and janurary. I guess there talking about the time where I couldent log on the day after xmxs. 20 min later I came back and it worked. I played the xmas night and it woked fine(2AM so mabe it was durring peak hours?). I played COD almost every day in Januray, I experienced none of these so called problems. Im sorry, but calling this game bad is just plain stupid. Your not going to rent it because you dont have a 360. You may say you do to try and gain some credibility but anyone will know that your are just pulling fanboy crap outa your a$$ when you try to say this game isnt good. Even if you do have a 360 and hate this type of game, you have to be blind,deaf and dumb to think that it isnt a good game that people should be looking foward to.
I had a DS1 for my ps1 and it has always not been my favorite controler. DS was better that the huge original xbox controler but not the S or the 360 pad. Thats just how opinions are, but take it from me the 360 pad is perfect for NG. Ive played NG countless times on both xbox and 360 and any pad that you can beat the game on very hard with is a good controler for you.
But next gen it will be able to hold even more data and will have better read speeds, which is why I dont mind the 360 still uses DVDs. People seem to forget that no matter how much storage a disk has its up to the developers to make longer games. Imagine what bethesda or bioware could do with two dvds. For their games I wouldent mind changing a disk.
Granted I bought it because I wanted the MGS2 demo, I was quite happy to find that ZOE was an awsome game. I only played the second one alittle but still have fond memories of the first. I hope that they dont make a remake and just make a new ZOE game. That would be one more game for me too look foward to getting a ps3. I can only imagine what they could do with 2 or 3 dvds. The game would take forever to beat, and thats just the main story. It took me 23 hrs(on the game clock) to beat ME and I didnt do most of the boring side missions. I wasnt intrested in this game in the least bit untill I tried it in Feburary. I will probaly buy the second one and wish that id have bought ME instead of AC(cause unlike AC I would have kept it).
From what I hear the cell is more powerfull than the 360 proccessor but the 360 has a more advanced GPU. I really dont see either one doing anything that the other couldent do with enough time and money.

Looks awsome, the new weapns Ive seen so far look bad a$$. I can guarentee that this game will blow sigma away grafix wise for one reason alone, the environments. The sigma environments were designed on the original xbox and one video I saw of NG2 showed a HUGe open area, something that the first ng didnt have. all you have to do is have some music on the HD, or even connect an external HD with music on it, and press the big X button and choose select music. It replaces the game music with your selection. I dont use it much but it is really awsome for games like burnout(comes with crappy music) or ace combat 6("Fly into the DANGER zone, danga zone").
