They dont want to anounce it too soon because some people would hold off on buying the other versions if they could soon get the chaeper one. This is just common sense on sony part.
not everyone wnats this game, yes I have an xbox but no I dont want this game. I played the killzone 1 demo back in the day on my ps2 and didnt really like it, but im sure this one will be mch better.

Talking about respec...people need to stop doing microsofts or sony bidding. We should be loyal to game companies like capcom who have been in the industry before micrsoft/sony. At 1....To say there a hostile game company cause they dont do things ass you see fit makes you look like a fool. you arnt special, and you will never will be. That is exactly what I think they had planned fromthe begining too. in 2005 they said they were going to cut the price every year, but they waited 2 years to do it. The wait gave them enought room to do another 50 cut especialy after their weak initial price cut.
the elite doesnt cont that much more than premium to make, just a bigger HD and that is cheap.
I started FPS with wofenstien and doom as well and I can say with out a doubt say this isnt the best FPS of all time or even close. And yes halo is great but forget halo what about Duke neukem, Dark forces 2, deus ex, half life, bioshock, golden eye, even FEAR(PC).... the list goes on and on

I think gears deserved game of the year because it completley changed 3rd person games. no more lame games like Oni on ps2 or bullet witch on 360. In other words the cover system was toatly new and added depth and realism to the game. but everyone has prefrences and it is perfectly fine if resistance is your game of the year. bt that is really old news anyways

Resistance made me want a ps3 when it first came out and imm sure this wii do the same, but I could not play fps with that controler. yes, I used the same one on ps1 and 2. but this game is gona be cool.

no one gave them credit but you also probaly couldent find one 360 owner that gave a crap if it was selling or not because sales are a PS3 issue(Hardware) and a wii issue (software) not a 360 issue(good sales). Ill give sony pre credit right now for selling more consoles after the price cut, but I doubt It will come close to the wii or 360 in sales still.
I dont need any web site or magazine to tell me what games are good for me. havent you noticed that most of the PS3 news IS BAD, and there is alot of good 360 news.
360 sells pretty low in japan, the lowest of all 3 consoles. But the truth is the handhelds sell wayy more and the ps3,wii,360 barley sell at alll there compares tothe us and europe. so 360 selling leat there doesnt matter at all when it outsells ps3 by 100,000 this month in us and even sold more than wii thie month. I doubt 360 will continue to sel out there.
even taking all those problems into account, if this game were released on PS3 it would still be the best game for the ps3.
I doubt you have a 360, let alone played this game that isnt out yet, to say it wont be that good. But you are right I am excited about metal gear solid 4 but on XBOX360 (we al know it will be right)
