Ive always looked at reviews like grades. %0%is not average, 50 is failure. It is possible to get a 100% on a test, and GTa deserves a 100% in every way imaginable. I dont think that any review should give this game less than a 98%.
and it is awsome to see what happens when oyustart running over people in that view.
if ps3 only development could have improved draw distances then why is it that you can see further in the 360 version?
it looks like your looking through a blue haze at the distant buildings and I love it. Something about it makes it look more realistic to me.
The only real advantage the 360 has is its a little sharper and it seems to me like it has a farther draw sitance.
there is this weird blur effect when looking at distant buildings, it looks like heat/smog or something. I think it makes it look realistic and just awsome. It that waht your talking about< If you wanna see something crazy look through the city at the sun while its setting. It looks blinding. I also really like the weather effects in the game.
if it was really in it for the long haul it should easily be destroying the 360s capabilities by now. I thought it would at least be a little more powerful but now the only advantage I see the ps3 as having is more storage on the bluray and a harddrive.
pretty obvious that youd only look at exclusives. cause they are the only games that arnt better on 360, cause hey arnt on the 360. If they were on 360 chances are they would be better.
That is funny cause I actualy see more good games that arnt less than 10 hours(and have multiplayer usualy) on the 360.
below- yeah but the good things about the 360 is that the gameplay usualy outshines the visuals(no matter how great they may be), and not the other way around.
I thought the ps3 version of orange box was crap(I dont know I only play these gams on my pc)? the president of valve hates the ps3 for a reason, dont you think. If the ps3 was much more powerful it would have proved it by now.

Live was on xbox 1 before the ps2(which came out 1 year prior) had its "psn." It wasnt called psn back then but it isnt like sony just got into online with the ps3. They just havent been able to keep up with microsoft and live. I had the network adapter and socom for my ps2 when it first came out. It wanst as good a live on the day it came out and hasnt ever caught up (althought I like socom way more than mech assault which I think were the main games for each launch. Live on ...

I was gonna rate gta4 and give it 5 stars but it was too much of a hassel. I did notice that the 360 version is backordered at bestbuy.com. I wonder if its hard to get ot some places.

I got it on 360 and I play it a 1080i and it looks great. The draw distance in the game is amazing, if you think the visuals are bad than you should go somewhere where you can look across the water at the other part of the city. For how much is being displayed the detail in the game is quite an accomplishment. To me looking across the water and seeing the city with that weird blur/smog effect, it looks amazing(plus all the stuff going on near you).
cause I dont care about the brand and it was on sale for 430$. I like it cause its a 1080i/720p while most 32in are only 720p. I notice a huge improvement in 1080i over 720p. also it has 2 component ,2 composite(with s video and 1 av out), 2 hdmi imputs, vga imput and a digital audio out. I dont care how much the tvs cost I judge it by its value.
dynex is far superior to any other brand......................... ............................... ...................just kidding. It says it was manufactured FOR best buy, so I really dont know who makes my tv. Regardless of brand if you go from standard def to HD its going to be alot better. I got my 32in hdtv for around the same price as alot of SD 32 in tvs(if they even make that crap anymore), so I think most people will be switching to hd soon. \

I have the 360 version and it is smooth as butter. I didnt read the review cause I know its as close to perfect as a game can get, and I know for a fact that it deserves a 98% or greater.
