A few months later I had to rent it again cause I got a new tv to play it on. After playing it a few times you probaly will get bored of it like me, but youll probally want to replay it again sometime down the road. If you like fps it is worth buying. It has no multiplayer but the single player blows away games like halo and COD4.
he must mean console exclusive cause theres cod4 obviously.... what about resistance. I dont have a ps3 but even Im sure resisance is better than haze.
If this is the best fps on ps3 it wont last long cause bioshock and res2 are coming soon.
you beat me too it. ^ Free radical is very different for the team who made goldeneye and PD apparantly since they cant make a good game. The only reason timesplitters is considered good is cause the first one was great(multiplayer only) fun with friends when the ps2 was pretty new. I thought TS 2 was crap and now it appears that haze is crap too.
They were part of the team at rare but theve never made a game even close to the caliber of goldeneye by themselves. Timesplitters was alot of fun with friends for an early ps2 game, but the singleplayer was an afterthought and I thought timesplitters 2 was horrible(when compared to other FPS at the time). I think people are giving free radical the benifit of the doubt, which is something they dont deserve, especially after hyping haze as their halo killer.

you should borrow or rent it. Cause its pretty different. I also think multiplayer would be cool if they added it, but I dont think that will happen.

I rented dsc4 and it was fun/funny. Over the top characters and a HORIBLE resident evil 2 camera. The camera in ng1 wasnt good but was also really easy to adjust with the rt trigger. DMC wasnt a challange at all. The enimies just stood there and barley ever attackesd you. NG is one series that is actually still a challange. Especially with similiar looking games like dynasty warriors and DMC.

the one I palyed was even easier, pull the right trigger to center it. Its not really that difficult huh. I like the controll over the camera as opposed to letting the game control it. The one thing that would be good for ng2 is to have the camera rotate when you move the right joystick and got to fps view when you press it down. moving the right joystic in the original makes you go into fps look mode.
they said the same about the camera in ng1. I got used to pulling the right trigger to straighten it out. like someone said the camera will probaly be better than what is in dmc cause at least you can move it around easy.
After playing through the original many many times I lke the camera cause its easy to center and I have no pronblems with it. The worst camera ever couldent stop me from getting this game.

halo didnt bring anything new? sure it did, but much it did was already done in halo 1 and 2 and has since been ripped of by countless games. Halo made the 2 weapon limit and recharging health popular. Halo 1 was the biggest leap in console FPS since goldeneye. What has haze done except be sub-hd?
I just dont care. I remember playing the original banjo on my n64. It couldent hold my attention even when I was like 11, its probally not going to now. Im sure some people might really enjoy it tho, there seem to be some little kids on live who might like to play it.
Who knows it may be great and in that case I may rent it(most likley not). If it isnt great then it will just be like the old banjo to me.
I doubt anyone who doesnt want the game is gonna say "sh@t 1000 ms pts for 60$ yay!!!!!!" But if you already want the game this gives you a great reason to pick it up at this place as oposed to somewhere else.
