I was actually dissapointed with cod 4 single player(exceptthe part where you shoot bombs from the plane). it seemed constant spawning enimies and kinda pointless once you play multi. Co-op coulda made the cod4 SP funner for me. good news, but im still not excited about the ww2 setting again.

It doesn't surprise me, and shouldn't surprise you. Just look at halo 1/2/3 like mgs4. if your a gamer you can at least see there good games(especially for what they did for console fps, the next step after GE), even if you hate console FPS, hate MD, hate microsoft/xbox, ...
they were already pretty good. the game will continue to sell good in america and europe. Why do I think that. Cause someday when I buy a ps3, the only game that I would even consider buying first would be MGS4. Im sure there are alot of people who will but mgs4 or gta for their first game.
not sure what resolution the video from live was in, but my tv is in 1080i. It looked smoother(more fps) and it looked better to me. It still looks like gears, that is why its called gears 2. Im more excited about new game play features like destructible stuff, new weapons, and bigger battles. It looks better than gears 1, from the short video I saw and not only in the grafix department.
