I was reading that earlier. After seeing the gameplay videos for the barbarian and whichdoctor, this game is looking cool. It looks like it may actually work on my comp.
This article made me think otherwise. so it uses dvds for games, but you cant watch movies. Thats even worse than xbox1 which made you buy a remote to be able to watch movies.

hahahahaha, what crap. What disks does it use, Wiid-rom, or some other crap like the gamecube or dreamcast. Whay is nintendo always against using a the logical media choice for their systems. Im guessing that it costs nintendo 50$ to produce the wii.

But there really is NO POINT for this, UNLESS it can be used on current DVD players. So this is HD-dvd, again. If this could be used in normal DVD players then there would be no reason for bluray movies.

and my power source is behind my tv, or in the other room, on some random box that is in the corner. I think mine will be ok as long as I dont put it on the carpet.
When my 360 is in the room with the box I put it on top of a few games that are on the carpet. same Idea I guess, just keep it off the carpet.

there isnt. everyone would need to buy a new dvd player, and really bluray has already filled that need. This would be HD dvd all over again. if this worked on normal dvd players then everyone would but HD dvd that play on the dvd player that they bought for 40$, but it doesnt, so nobody is going to buy the new player, and it will never be used for storage cause bluray already holds much more data.
