Ive been playing it for days and it works great. If the host leaves then the game reassigns a new host and everyone starts from where they were when the host left. It doesnt even respawn everyone like in uncharted 2, in cod 6 the game just picks up where it left off but with a new host. Most people on LIVE have 4-3 bars and I usually have 4 so im lucky.
Everything about the multiplayer in MW 2 is better than in MW 1. Especially the maps which are all bigger and more complex ...

The 360 version works great and I have been playing it multiple times a day since Tues. with no problems. This sony fanboy blog writter says "It seems all platforms had some problems and the number of people trying to access servers certainly didn't help." Went to BBV and actually didnt rent borderlands because they only had the Ps3 version. I decided to wait and just play U2 multi some.
I dont think they will get nearly as many pc sales as they would have if they left in support for dedicated servers. Any FPS on PC that doesnt allow the users to spend their own money and use a dedicated server is pathetic.
I will be buying a used copy on 360 so I can play with my friends who have 360. I hope extra people buy used as activision and even IW a little are crap.
I use it on my xbox alot since I recently got netflix. It would be cool to have it on ps3 too so I could still stream movies even when my gold runs out.

I like the sound of the crushing team deathmatch but I would also really like to see a FREE-FOR-ALL mode. that game is pretty perfect for FFA action. I just recently realized there was no FFA which is weird because usually FFA is a given in online games right after team deathmach.

I have uncharted 2 and plan on buying MW 2 on 360. Both are great games. I didnt like cod 4 SP but MW 2 has a better SP to me so far. The multi is much better than cod 4 too.
