In the long run I dotn think it will. It would have to be across all platform though and to be honest the DS version isnt the same game.

Gears is an old build of the engine and this game isnt even out yet, but if they said it looked worse(any system) then Epic would be totally screwed up. IF they said UT3 on 360 looks better than gears of war(which im sure it does) then everyone would say "wow really gears came out a yeear ago It better look better." You need to stop digging so deep for a hope that ps3 can Impress us with its "power." Regardless of what system this is on its going to look better that gears because it is using a newwer version of the engine.

I still have my dreamcast and I love it. I thought about selling it as I have some sweet game like soul caliber and House of the dead 2 with GUn, but I still like to play it sometimes.

I never played this game but I understand why halo 3 deserves a 9.5. It brought many more millions into the FPS genra than any game ever before. not hard core gamers at all. Just look over 4 million sold in 5 weeks in US. Your right about the AAA title not mattering but usualy you can tell from a developers past history. All the previous games were good for alot of peole so it was obvious this would be a quality game. I have a 360 and was never interested in the RC games on my PS2, but now I can say that this game actually looks worth trying and I would definatly give it a try if I had a PS3.
But I think games that have short single player get lower reviews when they dont have any multi player.
I think swat was added to halo 2 as a game type after the release. There shuold be an option in halo 3 to turn off the shield(thats all swat is) but I havent looked myself.

The mele is the same. it takes away a certian amount of shield/health. If you dont shoot the person enough your mele wont kill em, but since they were shooting you extra while you were meleing them, their counter mele klls you. I have the same problem sometimes too but that is my fault not the games. Its the same for everyone, the person has to be signifagantly hurt befoe the melee will kill them. Unless you melee them in the back cause that is a one hit kill.
Id say that eventualy it will be free or very cheap. I just realised that by offering a freee membership microsoft is building up live so that it will eventually pay for itself. Xbox live silver is free. Gold costs 40-50$ for 12 month. I think it is worth the money. But I think It would be alot better if they cut the price in half.
I think it obvious that gt5 will look better thatn forza with out even looking at the pictures. Just based on what I know from playing gt3 on ps2 the game will look damn good.
I agree with him that NG was one of my favorite games ever and I liked it more than MGS2, so I Do believe this game will be better than those games as well. GTA4 looks awsome but there are comparable games (kinda), but not many that can even come close to NG1 let alone what NG2 is gonna be.
