If they want to beat Halo, they better get their story better. That was the worst part of K2. Not that Halo has an awesome story, but it's not as bad as the K2's one.
I said only about fighting system , that one is weaker in GoW. Rest is a matter of taste.
If K3 is GoW of FPS that means it's the causal shooter in it's mechanics compared to others.
"What Killzone 3 is to the first person shooter genre is exactly what God of War 3 is to the slasher genre."
That doesn't sound too good. GoW 3 is a poor cousin of Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden in terms of fighting system.
I would forgive this game simple graphics if the art design was better. In that case I have my serious doubts about this production.
Tecmo's Quantum Theory doesn't fit that description.
US always gets the most fugly covers. Good I live in Europe ^___^
ok, last thing I want to saw before I give up on this another of Soejimas' bullshit (you screw Persona series and I still bought 3&4, but you and your team won't get a penny out of me anymore!)
it's a adventure game with a bit of action in nightmare world (were you have to climb up the tower and avoid monsters)
That would be fair. Plus Heavy Rain tries so hard to keep killers identity secret (and fails several times due to overlooking something) that the whole plot becomes a retarded mess.
*Spoiler* (sort of)
I think the wife should be the killer in HR that would make at least a bit of sense (she could make the whole sleepwalking-origami mindfuck to Ethan, and punish him and the world for loosing a child)
Well, they actually said it's Jill in one of the trailers. Plus who would believe that Jill's dead?
The gameplay is solid (as far most interesting shooter of last years). I really regret that's not a ps3 game, but the story and design (and those costumes, urgh...) seems so bad I won't be able to play it anyway.
Nomura!!! Toriyama!!! Nojima!!! Tabata!!! STOP f***ing up my Parasite Eve series, you bastards!!!!
Yakuza 3 for God's sake!!!
You forgot about SEGA. I know they don't count in any field anymore, but still they are a big part of this business' history.
TEH DRAMA begins!

At this point I really don't care what "journalists" or "journalist"-wannabe s writes. I have my own eyes and brain to judge things, and I learned many times that many small and big sites just spread BS about games. If I listened to gamesites I would be still playing mainstream crap, instead of really amazing games.
Plus, most of big sites are in the pockets of game publishers, no matter how much Adam Sessler will deny it.
Gaming journalism is broken beyond words. They even shouldn't be called "journalist" in the first place.
The problem with NG2 is that, after DoA4 the atmosphere in Tecmo was so bad that nobody working on NG2 had heart for anything. NG2 was rushed and they released sort of a beta just to finish working on the game and to not have to work in that company ever more. The fact that part of the team was using its time working on Metroid for Wii didn't help NG2.
better? good joke. Sigma 2 is the worst thing that happened to this series in its whole history.
Ridiculous, useless additions, more bugs and the worst online co-op in history of modern gaming. Ultimate Ninja missions were broken beyond words, also removing blood was a bad move (but reasonable when you can't code well for PS3 like new Team Ninja).
The biggest problem with Ninja Gaiden 3 is that not only Itagaki is gone. The guys responsible for awesome Ry...
This list is better, and I can see the reasoning behind it.The most popular and famous games (well sort of, Ico is more of a legend than a blockbuster of video game world), but that's not the best idea IMHO. I would rather choose games that were something new and fresh in their genres, show new horizons for games (or were really best of the best). Of course everything goes down to a personal tastes but I think there is always an idea need to made such lists (or you make the most important...
