with present state of Square I rather not want them to remake any game anymore (Tactics Ogre is an exception because in this case the orginal team is in charge).
I see ATLUS really need to cash as much as they planned initially on this one.
Game looks exactly like the DS version. I only hope that promised SMT for 3DS isn't remake of Strange Journey.
Anyway I will buy this one for sure.

it's a pity it's a reamake (I hoped for a sequel that starts after Yuzu's ending). But still I'm so damn hyped. DS was one of the best Megaten Games I played (so many SMT I-II allusions). Good I didn't master it because of lack of time (with bonuses it will be even more mindblowing game).
Can't wait ^___^ 3DS here I come! (and better Atlus USA translate it, or I will be very pissed off)
Just as I expected, nothing special. And I don't think story will be just that awesome also, sadly.

Well, piracy isn't good (yet I think game creators blow the problem out of proportions), but thanks to hacking consoles in the past I was able to play few games that were fan-translated (or play hacked versions of PS2 games with Japanese VA). Every stick have a two ends I think.

Best fighting system, best characters, best stages, best music and best animation in the whole series. With Garou: Mark of the Wolves it's the best of the best 2D fighter up to date.
The only good thing I can say about Enslaved is that it's pretty colorful for a game running on UE3. I don't see that whole DmC thing ending well.
There is a far more weird stuff in this game than just gay romance and Hitler.
Anyway I've played the patched version on PSX and don't care for this one so much.
That artwork from Tactics Ogre is amazing.
FF6, Ninja Gaiden 2, MGS2, Shenmue came to my mind in the first place.
I agree, VI was that kind of game that really should be remade to give it full justice, which wan't possible on SNES.
However considering state of current Square-Enix, and how other remakes were handled I rather stay with original game (GBA version was fun, but battles were made far too easy).
VI is the best for me. The most likable characters, the best music, art design and battle system. That was truly a cinematic RPG even if technology didn't allow it, to spread it wings fully (opera scene was mind blowing) oh! those wonderful times.
IV was fun yet many thing weren't so polished back then.
And VII sucks @ss (as a "best RPG ever", how many use to call it). They couldn't decide what they want to make, and in the end it end u...
