I know I buy games based on resolution. Gameplay is useless. If it's not pretty, it's garbage. When I am playing a game, like BF for instance, I generally stand in one place and stare at a wall, tree, rock, and think "wow, that doesn't look as good as if it was in 1080p" and then I get shot in the head because I'm not playing the game. I've got to disagree slightly with you. The only single player games that I've truly enjoyed, have been Skyrim and Fall Out. They are giant open world games with no linear story to follow, make your own choices, and you can just get lost doing anything you want basically. Cardboard crowds: When your racing do you take time to stop and check out the crowd? Really, that's your complaint?
Baked lighting: The races are 3-5 laps, time of day is not going to change.

I'm at a point in the campaign where I'm in the jail, and when I take the elevator up, all the enemies and character begin falling, non stop, shooting at each other. If you step back on elevator you fall and die. If you step towards enemies you fall and die. So I cant even play the campaign anymore.
As an "I'm sorry that BF4 launch was so terrible" they should sell the game for $40. Or give free Premium accounts to everyone that buys Hardline. I will say the biggest issue I have with this new Battlefield is how similar it is to BF4. When you kill someone and the points come up, the HUD, all just looks similar. This does not look or feel like a brand new game. Yes, the cops n robbers and being in a city is different, but they could have done this with BF4 and sold this as an expansion (yes, it would have been a massive download). Please stop acting like Titanfall isn't an Xbox exclusive. Just because its on the 360 and PC, it's exclusive to microsoft. That whole "its not an exclusive" argument is made by 99% of PS owners.
Why is this such a big deal? Before you could get Titanfall and Kinect for $450. So now you can pay $400 for just the console. Getting the Kinect and Titanfall was like a $100-150 worth of stuff for $50. Even if you didn't want the Kinect you could easily sell it on eBay. I bought mine on launch day for $500. $400 or $500 isn't that giant of a difference to all of a sudden make sales go high. PS4 still has more powerful hardware. Any game, the hype dies down after some time. Game is over a month old. What do you want, TF articles daily? COD died down after a couple weeks.

You should actually thank MS because that PS online service you love so much and you think is so perfect is because of MS. Live has always been the better service and now this gen PS has finally caught up and even surpassed it in certain aspects. Just like PS made Live better this gen (no pay walls for apps, free games, discounts).
