I don't believe YLOD is sony's fault unlike xbox's rrod I use my ps3 between netflix my wife and I streaming our shows from Vuse and gaming at least 6-8 hours a day 4-6 days a week since 2007 that's a lot of hours. don't rub it in I got YLOD on my original PS3 that I used way to much and got portal stuck inside. So have not been able to play even single player portal.

The fraud would cost them WAY more then the card replacement. If they felt this information was out their they would be calling you to have the card replaced.

I don't see the point of this discussion... this is a choice you make the discussion should more be should said developers be given the right to give you the option to have this information stored with them.
