Totally agree, I've loved everything DICE has put out apart from MOH but everyday they are either saying how much better their game is than the competition or how much consoles suck. Either way, it's getting old and rather annoying.

Why does DICE feel the need to keep saying this every other day? Seems like I'm reading the same thing over and over and over again nearly every day here. Some perspective on cost... Dice showcases BF3 using a GTX580 a $500 card. The unreal demo used 3 of those. Factor in the cost of the additional hardware and you are looking at large sum of money for a next gen console today. No thanks I'll wait.
Well next gen will no be nothing less than DX11 for sure and the card DICE is using to showcase BF3 is run off a GTX580 which is roughly $500 for the card alone. The latest unreal engine (that bladerunner looking one) was run off 3 of those. Now consider the cost when adding in all the additional components of what may make up a next gen console. Are you ready to drop that much money on a new console? If you want the best graphics money can buy just game on PC because no matter what PC WILL ...
I wouldn't say no to a next gen console but I'm happy with current gen. Sure graphics are better on an up to date PC but the difference doesn't take away from gameplay TBH. That and I don't feel like dropping $500+ on a new console with barely any games to play and have to wait around for devs to update their engines. This gen is just getting awesome, I mean look at all the games that are coming out this year. Compare that to the first year of both xbox/ps3.

I hate when companies bring out games this late on another platform. Really kills the excitement. If this came out on PC the same day as the 360 I probably would have picked it up. Now there is no chance.
