I prefer BF myself to any COD games but MW1 was good and even MW2 was enjoyable until hackers ruined it but Black Ops is a disaster. Honestly, I just don't find anything about that game enjoyable.
I just want to know if my PC can run it. My PC can run most games fairly decently but not at high settings so this one may be the breaking point. I may end up having to get the PS3 version initially. Too many games come out November that are must haves plus Christmas so I'll be too broke to upgrade my PC lol.
That's an easy one. They wanted a piece of the COD pie and thought making Crysis 2 more like COD would equate to more money.
I honestly think people will be disappointed when it comes out. They are expecting a new game which isn't going to happen. The game was built with DX9 in mind for consoles. DX11 will make some bits look a bit better but nothing mind blowing like BF3 will which is built with DX11 from the ground up. I've given up on the MP already as it's just filled with cheats and I think many other people have already also. I mean just looking at Steam stats right now..current players online for...
We all know PC has superior hardware, that much is obvious but rarely is it ever exploited. BF3 is the one exception I can think of. Even Crysis 2 is designed around consoles. I have the PC version myself and I somewhat regret my buying decision. The game itself is not bad but it's very buggy and I may have well just got the PS3 version as it lacks all the cheaters/pirates online.
I'll put money on some kind of hidden message regarding episode 3 in portal 2.
I dunno. I game on both PC and ps3 but I only know a couple people that game on PC. Everyone else games on 360/ps3. Plus so many games don't even go to PC that i would not want to miss eg uc3, mk9, la noire, tlg etc

My laptop can run bad company 2 at medium settings just fine @ 1280x720. This beast of a game however I'm not sure

Sony has already put out more games this year than Ms will for the entire year. If Sony didn't care about gamers they'd just rely on 3rd party devs.
Ms will simply rely on multiplats for core gamers while they make kinect games.
