...I'm pretty excited about buying myself a Switch in a week or two :)
It looks great for a cellphone game... Meh for Switch but damn why would you pay more for this than the original version on PS4/XboxOne?!
Looks fun and ugly at the same time... There are loads of other games that integrated more interactions with the environment, more vehicules and yet wayyy better graphics.
Graphically it looks like shit for a 2018 game. It does look fun though.
Looks pretty meh graphically... Gameplay is an improvement for multiplayer but probably not worth 60 USD
How would you rate it as an intro to the series?
Perhaps I misunderstood the title but there is a difference in my opinion between pretty graphics and technically superior ones like God of War's... I can appreciate games like Ni no Kuni and Dragon Quest for being aesthetically very pleasing without pushing any graphical effects forward
I like a nice slow western. Nothing wrong there :)
I too hate that 8 bit graphical style but it does seem rather popular...
It is too bad yet does Steam handle promotion better?
I was disappointed by the lack of a proper E3 presentation... But then I like the mini "Nintendo Direct" presentations and I find them perfect to highlight small indie releases
It's a matter of graphics vs portability. Personally I would go for the Switch version I love being able to play anywhere and I highly doubt the difference in visuals will be very significant in this particular title.
The Switch is a perfect place for indie games :)
I can't understand how any one watching this would consider BO4 a better investment of 60$. No way. (aside from some well deserved EA hatred)
There's a part of me that loves a good score yet I agree with eurogamer 100 %. Scores tend to communicate a game's strengths and weaknesses poorly. Definitely loads to enjoy in this game :)
I am hoping for a switch lite as well but I actually find the Vita and new 3DS both very uncomfortable for prolonged gaming... (The 2DS is a huge improvement IMHO)
The size of the PC/laptop needed to run this smoothly vs insane portability of the Switch make an easy reason to just buy the Nintendo console vs emulating... That said I'm sure some folks out there are probably hoping to see Odyssey in 4K or something along those lines...
I totally believe them there was no downgrade but damn those original puddles looked great :P lol still not too sure why they would remove them but it's all the same to me
For sure he hasn't! Meanwhile I don't care for those complaints stating the game was too slow during the first 20 min. I love the pacing of the first game and if anything I'm happy this won't be over the top throwing us straight in the action. I like a good western movie and I like RDR even more.
I did read it and I don't remember it mentionning the Switch not that it should matter anyway. I agree with the article. I might be the exception but after buying an original PS4, upgrading to a pro... Buying about 50 AAA games and completing only 2... I realise I am tired of gaming in front of my TV by myself. I want a Switch for local party games and a couple light and short indie games.
