Was there a difference between the one with the console and the one sold separately?
@KwietStorm Absolutely
I lost my launch controller to the peeling thumbsticks. Replaced it with the grey non-20th-anniversary one.
All that nostalgia
The logos on the touchpad are such a nice touch.
Do you have the console, as well? The console is awesome.
Which, given the Wii U, is an accomplishment!
I agree. Sales can easily fizzle out. Especially if the third party support isn't there in a year or two.
The changes really add a whole new dimension to the PvP that I don't feel were ever there in D1. Trying to take a point solo is nearly impossible because of the nerfed abilities and grenades. For a game with such good gunplay, it's good to see it sitting centerstage.
Yep. The new emphasis on gunplay rather than abilities and power weapons means that team that run together, win together.
Yeah. I wasn't sure the gunplay could feel better than the original, but it most certainly does.
I'm in a "wait and see" state with the Switch. The concept is exciting to me, but I want to know that my excitement will last well into the console's life.
Absolutely! It's really sad, too.
It's insane how much fear that simply villain design instilled in me as a kid.
@TheCommentator I worked there during the 10%/20% guarantee, saw people get fired for missing that value message on calls only to have them go back on it two weeks later. It was ridiculous.
They oddly only decided to ramp it up in the last week or so. A lot of targeted YouTube and social media stuff.
Holy cow! I forgot that Army Men RTS existed. I spent a lot of hours playing that game.
That's the bridge for me. The Halo lore would cover over some of the issues I think playing on a gamepad would present.
I've heard that it's a good, frenetic game type.
I'm hoping they just put the elite controller in the design lab. Can you imagine the options!
