As much as I would love a 2018 date, I'm not sure how likely that is. But definitely would be a mic drop.
The best thing about The Witcher was the meaningful side quests. I found myself drawn to them more than the story (not because the story was bad in any way). Hoping Cyberpunk 2077 brings a similar magic.
Yeah, if CDPR were able to grab me with a world I wouldn't generally like, I'm interested to see what they do with one I would normally be drawn to.
The Witcher 3 did give me that nostalgic feeling of buying a complete game and knowing that I wasn't going to have to pay more for additional features. When the time came for the story expansions, I was happy to shell out.
Absolutely. I'm not a huge high fantasy fan, but The Witcher 3 got its hooks in me.
I'm excited to see how they've approached the story!
In my opinion "dreadfully boring," is a bit of an overstatement. Sure, vanilla Destiny lacked in a lot of ways, but it still had a lot of bright spots, and the game only improved with each expansion.
I love my PlayStation as much as the next guy, but you can't suggest Sony doesn't do the same thing with console exclusive (coming also to PC) and timed exclusives that hit Xbox later on. Sure, Microsoft has had to do that with 100% of their exclusives since last year, just Sony has its moments as well.
It means so much that it really doesn't mean anything at all.
Yeah. There first half of 2018 is where the PS4 games I'm excited for are.
Yeah. Between marketing partnerships, perceived exclusivity, and exclusive DLC/in game items, that term "exclusive" has taken on a whole new set of definitions.
It certainly didn't help, but I'm not sure that it would've sold gangbusters, anyway.
Just screams "We fellow kids"
It's nice to constantly update, but by the time i get the UI totally figured out, it changes.
It's classic EA Sports: take a persistent problem and claim for years that you are tweaking it without seeing any real marked changes. It's the reason Madden has become a tired property.
Yeah. No man's sky is definitely a "wait and see."
Ah! You're right! Fixing that.
It's a really good looking controller.
Yep. I have one and can never imagine going back to playing without it.
Those points are all made on the episode, but you're right. Halo will always have a place in the pantheon of games, but there has certainly been a shift in the industry through the course of this generation that has impacted its relevance.
