the difference could be that MS doesn't care enough in the end. If the next xbox isn't very profitable for them they may just say eff it and focus on their billions of other projects. This would require a marketshare loss which I think is very likely if PS launches at the same price or close and at the same time (very likely).
I hope it's a success of course and I may buy one if a real Ratchet and Clank comes out. They made so many mistakes with the very conception of this platform though. They should have catered to the Japanese market and done some better marketing rather than promoting that crappy COD game. They should have made LBP the big bundle with it and advertised that for the holidays. Also they could have moved the power down a little to make it be able to reach $200. I know 3DS was $250 when th...
I might get a Vita next year when I'll have to take the bus on campus and probably be stuck there for long periods in between classes, or 3DS with pokemon coming out. Not really sure yet.
Sony shouldn't even try with tablets and phones and Pokemon and Mario to go against. Just stick to where you have frequently dominated and make your best products, home consoles.
It's a general plague in the industry people need to use the whole scale or change their definition on those scales. I would guess the later would be easier since games from this gen back would seem better if all their scores went by the formerly high scores, unless sites went back and adjusted and metacritic accounted for all of them but that's a lot of work.
Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, LoZ, and DKC could've been done without it. When you look at those games they force 1 or 2 motion controls in there which could easily be done with a button press (like Mario spinning). I would've like Skyward Sword a lot more if it didn't make me swing that clunky sword around with its delayed reactions to everything I did.
Godfather Kaz will ride a Giant enemy crab in and RRIIIIIIDDDGEEE RRRRAAAAACCCCEEEEE his way out.
REALLY!? Smaller size is above affordable price?
and touch screen controller is above super HD and free online? Those are my personal 3 favorites (price, 1080p, and free online although that last one is almost a given). Sharing is far more interesting to me than a touch screen since that would drive up the cost too much and they'd have to make it less powerful to keep costs down like WiiU.
I mean it would be ok but i personally would never use it and I don't really see the need for anyone to. Why would you be jumping in between games? I mean are you frequently playing Uncharted and saying you want to switch between it and Heavy Rain every 5 minutes?
Kaz the Godfather agrees with Kaz the pope
powerful systems rarely pay off. From PSone to PS2 to Wii the least powerful has won every gen. Nintendo has always had the weaker handheld compared to Gamegear, PSP, and now Vita but always dominates.
We know that Sony will have ND, SP, MM, GG, Insomniac, SSM, Polyphony, and Quantic Dream making games for theirs so I know which I'm getting
Sony systems always look better to me because I see ND, SP, MM, GG, Insomniac, SSM, Polyphony, and Quantic Dream games on them when I picture them. So I know what I'm getting.
I agree they should let Sixaxis die. It's barely used and when it is it feels forced and unnecessary (like Wii motion tbh). I don't want motion sensing. Sell on your exclusives, price (which will be cheaper without having to stuff cameras and screens and motion sensors everywhere), streaming, PS+, free online, and POWER! These are working fine for PS3 as long as you don't sell for $600 you can dominate the market (they're about to pass xbox despite their terrible launch an...
remember phone graphics are on a 4 to 5 inch screen so it's a lot more pixel density while these games will be being played anywhere from a 19inch screen (what I currently have) to 84 inch screens. That's a lot more demanding to look good on.
He makes a good point about the name I suppose although I would just go with 4 to avoid the 3DS and WiiU problems with their predecessors. Playstation Magnum (the great) sounds kind cool I suppose.
I don't know he gave it a compliment.
You won't find a bigger Sony fan than me yet I feel the same way. No matter what they do it's too expensive and they have had too much of their market eaten by tablets and phones. I don't know what they could do unless they made some giant franchise like Pokemon exclusive to their handhelds (some are holding out hope that Soul Sacrifice will be this hit).
No. People make plenty of profit on a number of current gen games and they don't always sell above a million or 2. Look at Infamous 2. Many people thought it did badly but Sony bought SP right after its release so it must've done ok. Rayman Origins sold enough for a sequel.
I think they're saving price cuts for E3 but maybe say something about one of their phantomware titles.
In other words our job is to keep people focused on xbox so they don't realize that playstation is superior
