Agreed. If playstation plus can keep the same price and cover all the gaikai stuff while maintaining its current incentives, and Sony starts to advertise a little more to let people know about that value, it could become a HUGE selling point for playstation. As usual Sony has made a delicious feast but not invited anyone to eat it.
That would be perfect both for Sony and for me. I'm looking to get 2 and sell one on eBay to offset the cost of the one I'm keeping
October launch would be great. The only thing better would be a September one but that's a stretch (psone released in september)
Delboy I wasn't talking about YouTube I was just talking about how its always recording so if something spontaneously happens that your FRIENDS would never believe you can show them. I can think of a few moments I've had just playing where cool stuff has happened by chance that was really cool. I once scored 2 goals in the final 10 seconds of an NHL game to beat my friend 2-1. I would love to have been able to hit share and showed everyone on Facebook but I couldn't...until now...
And if they showed all 3 people would say they had nothing left for e3 lol
I know its not a new ip but killzone looks great and with a new controller and all the new online functionality it'll still feel amazing. I can't wait to post vids of unbelievable kills, last second wins, and funny moments. This feature is really awesome when you think about it. How many times have you been playing a game and wished you could show everyone a moment or knew that no one will believe what you just pulled off or couldn't describe it if you tried (gta and sports gam...
Haven't been dissappointed by one yet and I've had all their home consoles! Gotta love how they support legacy systems too. Ninokuni, sly, beyond, GoW, LoU, and puppeteer are all great exclusives coming out in ps3s final year on market and now apparently gt6 will come to it as well (luckily drive club has ps4 covered). Compare that to 360 this year or wii last year. That's right there is no comparison because only Sony supports a system like this even with a successor in the w...
If they put gaikai on ps3 it will decentivise people from buying ps4. You could just stream ps4 games since the hardware doesn't matter
Couldn't agree more. I hate offset sticks. Wiiu pro and DS4 have it right
*now
Also guys I was kinda joking, but seriously Sony looks to be ready for a return to leadership this gen. They made 3 big errors that would mean death for any other manufacturer last gen that they won't be repeating.
I wouldn't unless you have a group of friends to do 4 player co-op with. It isn't that great and I liked D2 despite not being a dungeon crawler kind of guy.
Playstation has patiently waited, but not we are ready to reclaim our top spot
because streaming everything is going to cost a lot of money so I feel like they would be justified charging for it. Having a share button on the controller, but not allowing people to use it unless they pay would be weird which is why I included that.
Please Sony just keep it simple.
You get everything under PS+ for the $50/year you charge now.
Here's how I think it should be tiered
Free: Online play, sharing, party chat, store access, automatic updates
PS+: Streaming, spectating, take over, discounts
I think this game will be 60fps by the time they're done with it. They were working with limited RAM in the dev kit and had to get this ready by Feb. 20th when the system won't launch until September-November. FPS is one of the last things to be polished off and they can easily bump it up with the increased horsepower they have now. Not to mention this console is far from optimized as this will be a launch game so 60fps should be the standard even if this game doesn't end up be...
PS4 will not go down to a 160gb HDD for any model. I think they'll stick with the 250gb 500gb models if not upgrading with all the digital stuff they're promoting (I have a 500gb just for PS+). I also don't think nextbox will be more powerful it will be basically even IF that. I'm also pretty confident in a holiday 2013 release in NA. Seems like he's taking the worst case scenario for everything for PS4.
Judging by Tretton's recent interviews there is a fourth pillar. They WILL cater to the hardcore gamer. Despite these interviewers questioning whether there will be enough market for a hardcore console and asking whether it would not be wiser to pursue ipad 99 cent gamers, Tretton keeps saying that those are "bite size" experiences and that he hopes to move those customers "up the foodchain" and get them on PS4. This is what I've been waiting to hear. Stop with...
That's why I buy Sony systems. For those rich immersive SP focused experiences. I've played through Infamous, Uncharted, Sly, Ratchet, Jak, Resistance 3, God of War, and many more games MULTIPLE times this gen and never had to touch MP to get my fix. PS+ has also given me a nice backlog to fill my Summer schedule with. I play through those aforementioned games about once a year when I get the itch to experience them again. Trophies are also a big incentive as I am going to go bac...
I may get one if it gets a few games like Ratchet, Jak, MGS, Uncharted (a non touch focused one with set pieces), some 2d platformers, God of War, and/or Infamous (or any new IPs like these). So far the only games I'm interested in on the system are LBP and Super Stardust.
Also would need a price cut on system or memory cards
