well, the ps4 dedicated server has more probability to make a lot of money for developers than a xbox/switch server, that has an install base inferior combined than the ps4 itself.
also, both servers have the PC/tablets/smartphone userbase added to them, so not a loss for developers having two servers, thank to sony and PC actually... deal with it
actually, is the opposite:
if sony allows crossplay with them, more people will buy game copies and/or dlcs from anywere but ps store, also yes, xbox and switch will sell more units.
also also, sony figuratively "turn the other cheek" to them
i was actually angry when they raised the trimestral price for the plus, still crossplay with M and N is bullshit for a lot of reasons, stop begging for it.
"xbox and switch players are begging for crossplay with ps4 because they need our userbase", that's actually one of the reasons, deal with it.
but sony isn't wrong about it, also sony allows crossplay with other gaming platforms, and i don't care about it either
