This Panta Rhei engine looks more like a second gen engine and not a launch one.
I see great details, like when the torch the archer orc was holding made a great refraction in front of the icy stalactite.

I may sound excentric but the things that wowed more are the Quantic Dreams tech demo and Deep Down.
Deep Down looks more than a first gen next-gen title, more like 2nd or 3rd gen game, I mean I got the chill to see that this CGI is PLAYABLE (YAY japanese devs coming back in force after they missed the last gen, at leats in terms of graphics).

New controller and the devkit. It looks the one proposed by neogaf members ( I knew they knew more than regular gamers which makes wonder if they were disguised SOny devs from the start). The light emitter will be used to be tracked by the new double HD PSEye and the litlle holes look to be like a built-in microphone.
Best part in the whole article: "along with another next gen shocker from Guerrilla Games."

If you think they will pull next-gen graphics with next-gen features with this scope/type of game with not as much value as blockbuster games, you are just over-expecting. I saw how a bearded monster was animated in the interview, doesn't look promising at all. They can't create a groundbreaking tech by themselves in a short time with no money faucet or qualified scientific engineers.

Don't expect next-gen multiplatform games to look as good as latest PS3 first party games, let alone PS4 first party games.
Yes the term "4,four,for" will be recurrent and used to express their new slogans.
It will be like the PS Vita reveal in February 2011 at the same event, released at end of the year in Japan, and at the beginning of 2012 allover the world. The same will happen with PS4, eventhough I think Sony will shoot for a worldwide release at the end of 2013 to compete with the Xbox 720, maybe November 2013 in Japan and December 2013 for the rest of the world.
