The problem is you got things mixed up. Assassin's Creed games look like (and got inspired design from) Thief series and not the opposite.
At that ancient time, Metal Gear "Solid" and Thief were the pioneers in "3D" stealth.
I just can't wait for the series' comeback especially on my future PS4.

Not only texture quality overhaul but also polycount buff adding real 3D details on his suit, hence casting self-shadows and influenced by the awesome ray-traced lighting rather than just flat textures.
Edit: Don't worry about iGAM3R-VIII report and accept the news please (his report is irrelevant and not justified). I think some people are trying to Steal Sony and this Game momentum, starting by Putting the game as an XBone game then falsely reporting this news.

Please an upgraded engine for both OR NOT. I keep saying that in all my comments. We already have DC Universe on PC and PS3 with Unreal Engine 3 (aka last-gen engine). If it is teh same game with 1080p resolution on PS4, I will give up. I already gave up playing the 2 games even after being a veteran, I want something fresh and new on PS4. If they upgrade those games for the PS4, I will cease playing on PC.
It is epic how he transforms into Joel. Props for Naughty Dog for blurring the line between reality and INGAME digital art. I can't wait for what they can and WILL achieve on PS4.
It is TOO early to judge. GTA4 got 86 reviews on Metacrtics (TLOU has half of it for now) with one of the sites (Destructoid) gving 8/10 for it while 10/10 for TLOU! Expect more perfect scores from non-drunk and noob kiddy (who can't play REAL survival horror games) reviewers.
BTW Don't expect GTA5 to even reach 90 n metacrtics and have the same effect like GTA4. Trust me Watchdogs will get better score than GTA5. Games with innovatiion like TLOU and Watchdogs are bette...
Lol Forbes, a non-dedicated gaming site rating a game! It just like the reviews we get from Playboy. Metacritics shouldn't include those type of sites even if they give perfect scores let alone bad scores.

I hope they will shift for UE4 on PS4. Not any number 3 on PS4.
