I am really convicned that the Infiltrator demo is NOW A REAL GAME. The whole video has real time parts of it and even new scens from it: look at 2:20
It is just a shame to just waste a great concepts seen in tech demos only aka Samaritan, UE4 Elemental and Infiltrator demos. They have the great profiles to give birth to outstanding games (unlike some other retraded demos...cough Ruby...cough). Gears Of War just started as a tech demo of UE3.
It can even track eye movements and you can move the camera just with your eyes and they tested it on Infamous Second Son, check GameTrailers VGX reveal. Btw, does this Ember game ever had screenshots?

I was expecting that. I even warned Konami in their official facebook page to expect low scores.
Also better never play it on last-gen and wait to get the full edition director's cut or whatver which contains both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. The game is by no means bad, but the way it was intentioned to sell is the biggest scam in history even worse rthan EA politics:
This is really the best screen so far and looks completely next-gen.
If they really can apply the same job system as they did on PS3 mimicing its CELL processor's SPUs by either the the CPU cores or the 64 different ACUs in the GPGPU coupled with Naughty Dog's expertise and the way they were used to work on a hrader hardware and now converting into more powerful an easier one, then expect ... , ... and ... results.
PS: Fill in the blanks, because I couldn't find words to describe the upcoming situtation.
WTH is he talking about, at the moment of typing I am watching the live stream and I AM seeing his mullet move very well, well not like Lara's hair but it is a man's mullet don't expect it to move like a woman poney-tail.
To be honest, the last part of the comparison video makes me think that the last trailer was PS3 footage. I mean look at the resolution and IQ difference. Also I remeber seeing a video last year showing the PS3/X360 versions in which Ayden's trenchcoat barely moves when running comapred to the next-gen versions. The last part of the video clealry shows the difference. I don't think it is the PS4 otherwise, it would have been downgraded to... PS3 level?
The article forgot to mention that the PS4 version is only version that features dynamic sky and atmosphere condition.

I read in an old Examiner article, that the devs clearly stated that the PS4 version could run at 60 FPS, but they wanted to maintain parity between all consoles.
But seriously, neither the resolution nor the FPS is the problem now, I think the game has been downgraded compared to the E3 reveal and the first PS4 demos because of the lowest common denominator in this new gen. Just watch the latest trailer.

I don't see how they managed to get 1- advanced cloth physics simulation 2- on NPCS 3- in an open world-game 4- and that works too for last-gen consoles. The Fox Engine must be the strongest, best and most optimized engine ever made.
I made comments here: http://n4g.com/news/1467445... about how the game should have used UE4 and how the actual game looking slightly better but nothing next-gen screaming (I saw all the pics from Game Informer and trsut me the game looks good but looks kinda nextgen version of a crossgen game and nothing dedicated to next-gen only).
@ dogdirt2000
I don't see why you defend them for using a modified UE3 (modified but still UE3) while they could have opted for the use of UE4 with all those features in plus extra new extra feature and spared the time modifiying the UE3 (which still looked nothing groundbreaking even highly modified compared to UE4) while UE4 is there and even easier to use (promise from the devs). Do you want even next-gen games to stick to UE3 forever too? Why even create an UE4 then?...
@ dogdirt2000
If you want, I will send the pics' link to you only and tell me if this is comarable to Samaritan demo, let alone Infiltrator demo.
This is just beefed version of the old engine which conserves the really bulky ugly models and doen't come up to anything seen next-gen.
Oh BTW, deferred rendering was used since the first Bioshock and it was even using UE2.
I told you this game will be 1080p/60 FPS on PS4 and it is using UE4 and that many UE4 games on PS4 will run like that unlike the bad game that is Thief from the bad devs that made the PS4 look as if it was not the big deal.
@ dogdirt2000
The photos I saw looked nothing like Star War 1313 or The Samaritan demo, they looked slightly betetr than the old games and the old engine and especially character models are very recognizable and last-gen. Plus even the Samaritan demo doesn't look as good like any of UE4 demo whther elemental or Infiltrator cus both used new next-gen tech from translucid material sub surface scattering, SVOGI, etc and other stuff not possible with the highest version of U...
"It says it is running on their modified Unreal engine."
Oh no, why not UE4 why NOT?
I really wonder about the future of this engine, not even released and almost DBB (Dead Before Birth).
Edit: I saw some ingame photos of the game (look in Neogaf not gonna post them here). The game uses the same old engine but has slightly better graphics, nothing spectacular (for next-gen only game), don't expect UE4 Infiltrator level. Hype ju...
Huh ! Didn't know Dark Souls has guns and coloured people (no offense to any skin colour or race). Seriously why just attack any successful game and try to steal its momentum by such rubbish while the fake news those channels and facebook spread are the real truth behind the entire human race misery and recent wars?
They used the Unity Engine.
