@Dynasty2021 MGSV:GZ never dips below 60 FPS (it was locked at 60 FPS) and has the best graphicla features of all versions, so your is false.

This engine is getting extreme optimizations: at the first iteration of the engine , everything run at 5-15 FPS for me with mid range laptop, now after reaching 4.1 build, everything runs around 30-40 FPS in the EDITOR (which needs twice the power compared to running a game version ) the game version runs at 1.5 faster reaching 40-50 FPS. At the end of the month we will get the full 4.1 version and a very optimized Elemental Demo. UE3 needed years to to reach 3.5 and is still not optimized ( ...

I really didn't like the UE3 and its monochromatic look and pink dying fire and "dark" lights, but now I am falling in love with this UE4.1.

There is a shipping game compiler mode in which you can run the demo as an exe on any PC without needing any editor, which means you run it and PLAY IT like a REGULAR GAME on ANY PLATFORM TOO. iN THE EDITOR YOU CAN RECREATE THE SCENE FROM SCRATCH , add any character to it etc and then play it AS A GAME again. I don't blame you, you enever worked with any game engine.

There are even more impressive demos within the editor like Reflections and Cave demos which look beyond that and run very fine. It is your problem not believe it, but the engine can do wonders and ingame.

What? I don't really see they made an article about it. They already
made many articles about it. And this is not new at all, it was released
even before the release of the Engine itself which is at 4.1 version by
now. There is even a Night version of this room and if you play with it
and free roam, it looks spectacular and nothing compared to this low
res mess. Even the feet of the sofa reflect the world dynamaically or
the locks of the doo...

TO EVERYONE! You think this is only a video. This demo begins with a video and then you can free roam inside it and see every detail. There is even a night version of it too and looks more spectacular. In the Editor you can fiddle and modify and add everything to it, SO IT IS GAMEPLAY.

They should have those audio tapes into real cutscenes. Why bother listening to them, better read a text then. Games should really hit maturity and portray what movies are doing. Any developer should be audacious and accept the challenge to go beyond the limits of what is presented these days. Kojima do it in the Phantom Pain. Don't worry, Jack Thompson is far from you and he is only ineterested in GTA (unless he will be confused thinking MGSV is GTA because it has same gameplay now lol)....

I totally agree with you, and I kept saying that, the Kratos GOW3 demo ws 22k polys while the retail version was 30K (read official PlayStation forums, release thread of GOW3 a dev confirmed that). Also I'd better not begin with Unchrated. he got his infos from Beyond3 which is an anti PS3 , crshing site that never gets updated after new infos come especially polycount thread.

I find it funny how games these days are progressing very fats in terms of graphics and 3D while movies are regressing in that same domain ( cough Ultimate Spider-Man 2 ...cough).

OT: @ 3-4-5, the subway screenshot, is the best screen I have ever seen in any 3D project in terms of realism. Seeing how first PS4 look and play (I expected to get the quality of the Order at least 3-4 years in PS4 life), I am sure the PS4 will have better future than the PS3.

To be honest, I am still urging to wait and get the full game or whatever GOTY or director's cut version which has everything in it at reasonable price.If Ground Zeroes can be finished in 10 minutes and The Phantom Pain is 200 times bigger it means 200x10= 2000 mns/60 =33.33 hours and that is just in speed run mode. Imagine if you play it at ease. I hope though 200 times bigger= 200 times longer = 200 times better.
