i think the hardware is way more powerful on pc but the games aren't that much better cause of the devs pc horsepower just isn't important to me without devs pushing it. pc games do look better on ports but not even close to bringing out full capabilities of the hardware the last time that happened was 2007 on a game called crysis now a 5970 runs that at 60fps @ 1920x1200 a game which they had to make a new engine for just so consoles could have it and run 30fps @ 1280x720
btw i think they would get great returns if they came out with great games no one wants to play console ports or dumbed down fps games on the pc. 25 million steam users in 2009 registered on just that gaming site tap into 20% of just steam and you have some great numbers already and with mac taking off on steam and gaming that 25 mill number will grow very fast.
because nvidia and ati the only real players in the gpu market depend on pc hardware sales alot the more there down the slower new hardware is released and the slower gaming its self evolves, personally i would like to see games get better and look better faster not slower
when devs do not build or release tech on new pc hardware they are not as well prepared for the next gen of consoles so games will not achieve max performance on the console platform half as fast cause devs are jumping from dx9 to dx 12 or 13 or maybe 14 or 15 by then and skipping all the technical jumps in between which never used to happen the slow down of pc gaming trickles down to console gaming tech starts on pc if devs skip some of it they can't be as prepared.

i hope it does come to pc so ppl can see how powerful gaming rigs are, im sick of hearing from noobs claiming ps3 is faster than a mid-high high end pc when it can't even run full 1080p in alot of games and keep 30fps. A cheap amd quad core and a 5770 = faster than any console. and thats a lower end rig.
bottom line graphics and framerates will be way better and nvidia 3d vision could look pretty good on this game also.
if console gamers would realize how much more free and better pc is the games would already look better than this while there trying to make your old ps3 and 360 hardware 5% more effective on some gaming engines pc hardware isn't hardly being used push new pc hardware to the limit you have a game thats looks amazing.... modern warfare 2 on higher end rig runs 2560x1600 @ 120fps lol really pushing that pc hardware....
the colors look alot better on led lcds for sure ive seen this 1st hand although led lcd monitors need some work thats for sure
most of my pc games i have like 150-200hrs in the original ghost recon i have prolly 1000hrs and americas army have 2,500hrs in. before 2000 i was a console gamer i still have a 360 for the occasional ufc game or if a buddy comes over to play something but those games i might get 30hrs in now days pc games never die man i swear i can play them forever they just don't get old crap i might have to install ghost recon again.... btw if those games came out on pc i wouldn't even have a console u c...
u can use an analog stick to move if you want thats the beauty of pc anything can be done btw have fun trying to compete in an online fps match with that analog stick lol... whats ur frag rate going to be with decent pc fps players im guessing 100k/1000d ratio

just hook ur pc to ur hdtv... use a gamepad, with a pc u have a platform that plays with a 360 or ps3 controller or wii if you want and has better graphics... btw ur console is an old pc with limited capabilities, even though most would agree mouse and keyboard own controllers for most types of games (not racing) i have a wheel for that.

1st off the game will not push the limits like the original crysis because of multi platform. 2nd is the environment its alot easier for a graphics card to handle a city than a dense jungle just think of shadows alone going threw tons of leaves or just edging around a building....

dx10 is alot diff architecture than dx9 which is why devs were shying away from it, dx10 is a base for future dx releases to come they had to do it to move forward so dx11 should be alot more successful than 10 because of windows 7 and devs have some knowlege of dx10 now (the base tech of future dx releases), plus the fact devs will have to start getting rdy to bring these new technologies to the next gen of consoles, there should be alot more high end games coming out for pc because of this,...
u can use dx10 cards just have to have vista dx11 and dx10 are compatible dx9 and dx10,11 aren't. btw if you still want to play the dx9 version get a console pc's are going forward finally not hanging back with consoles.
