Valve and steam deserve it, valve devoted entire resource to PC gaming.
If any publisher feels unfair, please put more resources to PC gaming, not just bad console port.
I have 135 games on my steam...
Both Nvidia and ATi definitely will push developers to use the newest graphic card so they can sell more high end cards.. Look at Metro 2033, recommending card is GTX 400...
USB 3.0 already came out and we are on the early phase of DX11.
In addition, the next waves will be PCI-e 3.0 main board and graphic card.
6-cores CPU?
Lots of money for those new upgrades....
I also rent xbox 360 version but the console version is far inferior to PC version.
This game is lead on PC and port to 360 in 19 days (from Eurogamer)
If you like PC version, buy it and support PC game developer.
I don't suggest to buy this first-generation DX11 card.
Nvidia already said they will bring new revision GTX 400s at the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011.
Besides, for current games supporting DX 11, I didn't see many differences between DX10 and DX11. (Dirt2, AVP, and Metro 2033)
If you already have good DX10 card, save your money unless you really want to contribute R&D cost and premium for Nvidia.
Lots of DX11 features also on D...
Just let dedicated server back on PC.
Yes I bought PC version on Steam and it's pretty good Russia-version fallout 3.
I gave 9/10.
If you have money to waste... then buy it
I smell the end of COD franchise is coming...
Activision just fired the soul people of COD.
Short-sighted and stupid.
No, MS just released DX 11.
Again, every time an excellent PS3 game came out, there was always this kind article and post appeared here.
And we will see:
Is GOW III failed?
is Killzone 3 failed?
Every time an excellent PS3 game came out, there was always this kind article and post like this one appeared on this site.
I wonder MS gave how much to these posters to doing this.
No worth to troll this pointless post.
V2 will come out at the end of 2010. Not worth to spend so much money on it. Besides, I didn't see lots of difference of Dx11 and Dx10 so far. And Developers keep offer console port. At the same price, better to get PS3 and UC 2 and Heavy Rain.
The ratio is no longer price/performance, instead, should be price/good PC game.
I will stop at my GTX 295, I don't see it's worth to upgrade my graphic card to play console port.
I just picked up 25 games. and less than $80.
Yes, do not include Id soft as Rage will not include dedicated server.
This article raises very good point and I agree with Tory.
Intel, AMD/ATI, and Nvidia are big players in the filed of PC gaming. ATI even spent $6M for Dirt2 on DX11. The best way to see if PC gaming is dying is to see how many med-high end graphic card sold and this is the market for PC gaming.
NO PC gaming, then no Nvidia and ATI as their revenue most came from PC GPU, not console GPU.
I heard that BFBC 2 will support DX 11 in the future, sweet.
1. Some ppl pirated games probably will buy games later.
2. Some ppl pirated games will never guy games.
3. Legit ppl will buy games.
For UBI's new DRM, then it's simple:
1. None ppl pirated games will buy games.
2. Most legit ppl will not buy games.
