As much as i enjoyed The Order, it's length and lack of plot (it felt more like a set-up to a story) was the main reason so many harped on it.
Uncharted titles may not play all that 'new' but the set pieces, writing and characters are what sets it apart from a number of games. In each game you get a full story, not just a bit of a story.

Some reviews have missed the point to be sure. But the game has flaws in its end game. I like The Division a lot, but anyone who is acting like the endgame or dark zone inst flawed is frankly disillusion.
Does that mean the game is bad? no, of course not. Much like Diablo 3 at launch, the endgame is weak but will probably improve leaps and bounds via content updates and patches. It's still fair game to be critical of said endgame till then.

Content gets cut if it doesn't work or breaks something. Heck, if you want a good example of this look up the chapter on the Hydra in Half-Life 2 in the book Raising The Bar.
The game changed quite bit since it was shown at E3 2013, but Ubisoft always does this.
