I've never had any issues with it to be fair. Saves me a lot of effort in connecting up older system on newish TVs.
Only gripe i have is it can be a little tough to take games out, other than that it's brill. Plus it saved me a ton in importing a NTSC Gensis to play Castlevania Bloodlines XD

I can't really comment on DoA and Street Fighter 5 purely because i have not looked into it enough. I've grown up with Blizzard games since i was 9, i played a lot of Overwatch.I felt i was in a position where i could speak about this topic.
I will say this, i found the Street Fighter 5 changes odd, even more so given Capcom's country of origin and the traits of the character herself.
I get why they made it, the pose did not fit with the character and her personality.
However, the other complaints made by the original post were a little shady, suggesting they did not really care about if the pose fitted or not.
I'm not sure how someone can find spandex/lycra to be sexual objectifying.
