The Sony effect is putting out great hardware only to be followed up with doom and gloom articles non stop.
Sony launches hardware with advanced specs and features that make it future proof through out the lifecycle of the device. This also drives up the cost at launch. If you want to be on the bleeding edge of tech buy it at launch, if you don't then wait for the price to drop.
Simple as that.
So you are demanding Sony.. The company with the most first party studios and exclusive titles.. For even more quality games as if they aren't already doing a great job of that?

Sony just put out the Vita and may have some tricks up their sleeves. Some new releases and unannounced games. Cross platform play could turn the Vita/PS3 combo into a WiiU killer. We shall wait and see.

Sad that it is in third place as far as game support and sales go because it is honestly the most accurate of the big three. If you deny that then you haven't tried it.
Killzone 3 is honestly better with move. It allows you to lock on to targets ONLINE. Although it only holds the lock for a few seconds before going back to manual 1:1 motion aiming. It is seriously amazing for sniping though ;)
