What in the world are you talking about nickjkl?....Alan Wake is right up there with the any of the hyped ps3 games in so far as the graphics are concerned....also I always thought Gears 2 was pretty much right up there with Uncharted 2....certainly better than Uncharted 1.
I agree the gameplay might not be that great....we will just have to wait and see about that...but you can't tell me the graphics were not totally amazing.....what are these better looking games you are talking about?
Heavy Rain?...no f'n way man, that game was way overrated in the graphics area...Alan Wake looks a lot better than Heavy Rain....actually I can think of quite a few games on the ps3 and 360 that look better.
Amazing...absolutely amazing...I would even go so far as to say that it has some of the best graphics and gameplay I have ever seen in a console shooter.
Funny...the Enslaved shot does look better....you might want to go hand pick another screenshot to try and prove your biased opinion.
Actually...I have played Alan Wake and Uncharted 2 and its true that Alan Wake looks just as good as Uncharted 2...even better in some ways. Halo Reach also looks amazing...I can't wait until they show us more of the campaign.
Why?....the ps3 is not more powerful than the 360. a ton of developers have explained that a million times.
Frontlines: Fuel of War had over 50 players on the xbox 360...so get your facts straight. Having more players isn't always better anyway.
@FaZtKillar
That doesn't really prove anything.....having a few exclusives that look amazing doesn't prove it is more powerful.
For your information the ps3 could be 5% weaker than the 360 and with enough money, talent and expertise thrown at it you could manage to make a few games really excel.....even above the 360's games (provided MS doesn't put the same effort in). The problem is that those games have nothing to compare them too since ...
Exactly. You summed it up perfectly, commodore64....the ps3 fanboys way overexaggerate how good the ps3 exclusives are and then somehow they can't see the same kinds of differences when it comes to a multiplatform game. Somehow they can see when a ps3 exclusive is 5% better than a 360 exclusive but they somehow cannot tell when a multiplatform game is 5% better on the 360.
You don't own sh!t, Obama. You don't even know how to use an iPad. You might have stolen a ps3, but I seriously doubt you own a high end PC. Besides, you're still missing out on all the great Xbox 360 games that can't be played on a PC or a PS3.
You guys didn't own anybody or anything. You're all delusional and just because you go around patting each other on the back chanting the same mantra doesn't make it true. All you know how to do is make excuses and come up with fanciful reasoning why the 360 and Wii are ahead of the PS3.
Damn, it's a ps3 fanboy sausage fest in here. Have fun guys! I'm out.
Huh?...Alan Wake looks better to me than Heavy Rain....and it has a lot bigger environments and gives you full control of your character and the camera....Alan Wake is truly the more impressive game when it comes to graphics.
You clearly don't know what you are talking about....the trees are like sprites?...yeah don't make me laugh...the trees are made up of full 3d geometry and they happen to be the best looking trees I have seen in a console game...the textures are also very good in general....what?..you think Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 didn't have some flatter textures?...well you would be wrong.
...say what you will, but Alan Wake is simply one of the most graphically impressive games to come along.
Heavy Rain and Killzone 2 also took a long time to come out...but both of those games turned out to be good....sometimes it is worth it to take the time to make sure a game turns out well.
...in my opinion Alan Wake is also turning out to be an amazingly crafted game with polished gameplay, deep narrative and some of the best graphics on consoles.
Stuff always gets cut from games....this is nothing new....the DVD format is still enough for 98% of the games this generation....even if an occasional game does need more space they can just use a second disc if it is that important.
ok, but the ps3 only had two AAA games last year, so whoopty doo!...not like there is that big of a difference.
I don't think some of you understand what 360 owners are saying....we aren't saying Heavy Rain is crap....we are just saying that why are people acting like it is so amazing that the 360 has to have an answer to it?
.....and as far as WKC and MAG...I'm sure some of you can get some enjoyment from them but don't act like they are amazing games....you guys didn't give the 360 that kind of treatment when it had pretty good games like Ninja Blade and Halo Wars.....so why are 360 owners goin...
No...but I know what he means...dualshockers always come off like ps3 fanboys.
