nonsense...gears of war has great character models...they look a lot better than killzone 2's character models for example.
unreal engine 3 powers some of the best looking games this generation and while there will always be a few similarities between games that use the same engine i still think the unreal engine is quite flexible.
when i saw games like enslaved i thought it looked gorgeous...but i didn't even realize it was using the unreal engine.
hahaha...of course your friends thought that...they are all ps3 fanboys like you. halo 3 is still one of the most played games online.....killzone 2 is practically a ghost town. everytime i play killzone 2 online there are only a handful of games available and half of them are things i don't want to play like pistols only.
hate on halo all you want but it is an amazing and fun game...that is why so many people continue to play it.
of course killzone 3 already looks as good as killzone 2...it's running on the same engine...but don't expect it to really look much better....they might get rid of some of the pop in I saw in the gameplay videos but the graphics are more or less going to remain the same.
killzone 3 looks no better than killzone 2 from what i have seen....and rage looks better than either of them.
yeah but mag has bad graphics...it might have a lot of players but the graphics are mediocre. having a lot of players is just network code anyway and it doesn't really make a game better....i would rather play uncharted 2 or halo 3 than mag.
i agree graphics and gameplay are important...but i would say that gameplay and story are more important than graphics...make sure your game has great gameplay and story, then if you can make it look awesome...great.

aside from gow3, uncharted 2, lpb and maybe killzone 2...what are all these amazing ps3 exclusives?....i own a ps3 and i own all of the above games except lbp because it is boring to me...but i honestly don't see very many other games for the ps3 that i want.

i assure you RDR on the 360 is one of the best looking games on either console...well at least in terms of overall technical achievement in terms of scale, physics, interactivity, dynamic gameplay and so on.

that comparison was a joke...it was completely biased....all it really compared were character models up close in unnatural positions that you would virtually never see while you actually play the game.
i guarantee that if you wanted to be biased in the other direction you find angles that would make the uncharted models look a lot worse.

in my opinion the ps3 is the one that is falling behind in good games this year.....i mean, aside from gow3 what else is there? ...kiddie games like mod nation racers and lbp2?...no thanks, they don't appeal to me. gt5?....meh, i already have Forza 3 and i dont really like those kinds of games that much to begin with.
the next game that appeals to me is killzone 3 and that isn't until febuary 2011...so that is almost a year between good games on the ps3.

way to list every little insignificant thing....if you want to get that picky then why not mention that the 360 S has a lot more USB ports than the ps3, batteries that you can simply and easily switch out yourself, more features on the dashboard, cross game voice chat, voice messages, parties, full game installs, backwards compatibility with many Xbox games....and so on and so forth.
bluray isn't needed for the vast majority of games....the few games that do need more space can usually use more than one disc.
the ps3 fans act like a-holes though...that is the problem.
the wii and 360 fans are not nearly as hateful and irrational as ps3 fans....so go cry in a corner because you ps3 fans make such a bad name for yourself....you have nobody to blame but yourselves.
