Hey Japan also has Nintendo so it has competition between Sony and Nintendo, Microsoft is just a useless third wheel there.
Not to mention consoles are not as big there as they once were. Though in the Xbox case it is extremely worrying compared to either PS4 or Wii U.

Not all games need to be open world, nor all linear. We prefer somewhere in between really. A semi-open world we guess where you can go a lot of places and do a lot of stuff but not everywhere and everything until you complete certain objectives in said games and stuff.
The one's they have now are having no problems selling.
We have been having loads of issues with Xbox Live since Christmas and stuff. So its not like just PSN is having issues and stuff of late.
We can only hope that a slew of old school JRPGs come out on this gen and stuff. Maybe some franchises that were absent as well or haven't been touched for a while.

If GameStop is doing this, it is rather stupid. Everyone knows that there is a shortage of amiibos, so they really gain nothing from doing this if they are doing it.
Hopefully Nintendo can continue to make money and stay in the console business. We agree that them going 3rd party would probably be a bad thing.
