Its a nice priced entertainment system... But an overpriced games console.
I dont know how the bluray camp can just sit idly by and watch all this happen.. Blueray need to drop a bombshell as at the moment each day is just more and more good news for the HD-DVD camp.
I want bluray to win, because I own a PS3 and its convenient. If HD-DVD do steal the biscuit then its not the end of the world, I only own 2 bluray movies. Iv already gone back to buying dvds until this whole mess is sorted.
I have had no problems with BC on my PS3. All of my library works fine and I have played through FFX and God of War with no problems at all.
Once they drop the price of the PS3 you will start to see more PS2 owners coming over. They will be faced with a decision, should I get an XBOX or PS3, the deciding vote may be that they can play all there PS2 library on the PS3.

I always listen to the IGN PS3 podcast. It brightens up my week/drive to work.
Of course both are going to decline. Customers wont by either until there is a deffinate winner as they dont want to waste their cash.

Devs will endevour to make sure that mulitplats will look identical on both consoles. Simply because they are the SAME GAME!
The only games that will show off the PS3 power will be the exclusives as they are developed to take advantage of the PS3 hardware. And there are plenty of them on the horizon..

Wii Owners waiting 1 year for Mario
PS3 Owners waiting 18 mo...

If they cant bash the graphics then they will bash the AI. Brainwashed Bots just cant accept that the PS3 also has great games.
