I'm a bit of both. Lol Picked it twice on psx, ps3/PSP and on the Ps4. After E3 I became excited for the remake.

Better off it's own I.P. the concept behind doesn't really fit Final Fantasy. Anyways Xenogears deserves a second chance. Of course MonolithSoft should be the team to handle the remake if it ever came to be.

So you're just basing that off of one game (FFXV). That is the only main entry that didn't use some variation of the CTB or ATB battle system. The remake still incorporates ATB gameplay.

You favorite is one of weakest entries. It's not a terrible game, but they are better titles. It's cool that you're excited for the remake though.
