The game seems like a crazy love letter to the Final Fantasy franchise. The game features a lot of familiar areas from previous FF titles and the gameplay wasn’t terrible. Judging by the demos and trailers it’s going to be campy and I’m all there for that.

How is it woke? Because it has a Black lead? That’s pretty asinine and a tad bit racist. None of the games issue have anything to do with being “woke” Can Black folks just simply exist?

Good, hopefully they’ll improve the performance. The frame rate was all over the place in the trailers
I’m a Confessor (I think that’s what it’s called). I wanted a class that focused on melee and magic. So far I’ve been focusing on strength and vigor. I never really got into a Souls game besides Sekiro and the Demon’s Souls remake but I’m loving it so far. I don’t feel that the game is easier than other Souls games, but more accessible.
I loved playing the arcade version back in the day.

I hope we see a new game plus. Going through the skill tree seemed like an unnecessary grind to other really fun game.

There something special about it’s open world. I haven’t been this immersed in a open game since RDR2 and Breath of the Wild. I also like the fact ER is more accessible for Souls game. My only complaint is the performance on the PS5 can be a mess at times.
