Yeah, Sony dropped the ball, but I think it’s time to move on. Sony dropping the ball on the Vita was a first sight with how Sony would drop the ball with its Japanese market. Look at how bad the PS5 is selling out there.
Which is most of Square’s remasters tbh with the exception of a few FF remasters and Neir R.

The game lacked any depth to it, no strategy just hit auto battle every turn and you can manage to do that all the way up to ch. 11 that’s the majority of the whole game. It’s the worst version of the ATB battle system used in a FF. Characters sucked too except for Fang and Sazh.
I played and beat every single player main line FF except for that crap and I’ve tried multiple times since it’s release.
Story is whatever, but I’m digging the gameplay

Definitely needs a remake with Monolith Soft involvement. If the original creator isn’t involved I want no part of it. Heck I take a simple remaster
You can find cliches in every genre including visual novels. As for FF16, it looks like a return to form with the focus on crystals
XIII was trash. You can put it on auto battle 90% of the time.

3rd Birthday wasn’t Parasite Eve 3, and he didn’t write it, not produced it, nor directed it. So we hate him for shit he wasn’t even involved with, really now? The changes made to FF Vs XIII leading into FF15 weren’t his fault and was out of his control. I heavily followed the development of Vs. 13 and 15.

The Author who wrote the Kingdom Heart novels wrote SoP. He wasn’t the only writer involved in KH3 (since when was Kingdom Hearts known for its story in the first place?)

Doesn’t matter if Sam Lake wrote it or not. Rockstar decides what canon or not. Just like Square and Final Fantasy (with Sakaguchi’s involvement). Personally I thought Houser wrote a very good Max Payne game.

It was a bad Resident Evil game, but you can’t dismiss the fact it changed up 3rd person games especially shooters.
