Does this one have 1000 cars?
Lovely? Perhaps 'lovable' is the word to use. But no, he's annoying and cowardly - the gaming equivalent of Arnold from The Magic Schoolbus.
It's a basic RPG, but it works. Gran Turismo 5 still holds the title of strangest hybrid with its 'Racing/RPG' combo.
SotC and Kingdom Hearts? Excellent.
I don't know; the mp5, ak47, ak74, p90 and g36 were all very effective in the right hands. So was the G3 and all the half of the snipers and...yeah, cod4 was pretty good.
Well said. There are those who are already disillusioned with the franchise but keep playing it because they're caught in the trap. It seems these people will have to wait until EVERYONE is disillusioned with it until something happens, though perhaps the ex-Infinity Ward developers will produce something as radically different as COD4 was when it came out.
I agree, KZ2 was brilliant fun. But it died out so quick, and you just have to look at the changes they made for KZ3's multiplayer to understand how cod is killing diversity.
Hopefully Battlefield starts to take over...though since it takes a bit of skill I don't think that will happen.
No doubt they're being hit hard by angry gamers. Perhaps a few patches in the near future?
It was a go at past BF's.
"hiding at the spawn in some azalea bushes."
Quality gameplay right there.
Love 3 of them, hate 2. Modern Warfare 2....God...
First-person games will always have better textures than third-person games, because the camera is closer to objects so those objects need to look smexy. From a distance, you can still make them look gorgeous but it's not so much about the textures.
Wonder when the PS4 will be getting its reveal. Will Sony be forced to push it forward to compete, or will they just cut the price of the PS3 even further and continue to produce more Uncharted games, which I imagine will be nearly on par graphically with some of the earlier next-gen releases. Early 360 games weren't THAT better looking than original Xbox games...it wasn't until Gears came along that we saw the first massive leap forward.
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Unlike last gen, I think there's still A LOT of juice to be milked out of current consoles. That, and the fact that creating games with high-graphics nowadays is time consuming enough...development houses are going to have to swell in size so that we can get lovely looking games that have some decent length to them.
Er....not quite. Don't expect any releases until the end of next year AT THE EARLIEST.
This is truly interesting. There seems like there's going to be a considerable gap between the release of each next-gen console, with most likely a gap in technology as well. No idea where that will leave multi-platform releases.
If Microsoft have had some in-house developers working on technical showcases then an E3 reveal this year could be a certainty, though I'm thinking they might wait till next year when they can show a wide range of first and third party suppor...
The guy who wrote this is a bloody retard. They haven't cut ANYTHING, they're simply planning ahead for future expansion packs so that they're as well fleshed out and enjoyable as the original game.
Hits, hits, hits, targeted at those gamers who never read anything but the heading and the blurb, or simply have little knowledge about gaming.
@crofterz
I played Half-Life 2 and disliked most of the game during its running time. But then I got to the end, which I still consider it one of the best sequences in gaming.
So perseverance can sometimes wield rewards, especially if you're playing a game that has received critical acclaim though you're not sure why. There are plenty of unique missions in oblivion that really boost the experience, such as the mission where you get sucked into a paint...
Those oil companies are so greedy. We should go steal all their oil. Makes sense.
