Some negativity, but not as much as Xbox on this website. Pro was well received on this website. The things i heard people complain about on here was no UHD player and it was let go a month later.
Off the record: I’ve been on and off on N4G for years. Always been an PlayStation fanboy site. It’s very well known in the gaming community. No matter how you spin it, it’s perceived that way outside this community. Hate to burst your bubble. Yeah answer is N4G
@morganfell
You sound like a broken record with the no exclusive narrative. I think everyone got your point. Any other pointers or is that all you got?
Anyway, I can ask the same question for the PS4 Pro too! Why put so much effort on a ‘4k’ machine when the majority of enhanced games are 1440p? Maybe that’s the ‘dynamic’ 4K...
Probably resulting from the developers rushing. I’m sure they’ll patch it for higher resolution

Yeah PS4 Pro advertisement on Dynamic 4K is a joke. People might as well stick with a regular PS4.
Most PS4 Pro enhanced games are 1440p anyway. Doesn’t surprise me the resolution is less than the One X.
@SegaGamer
Fair enough. My point is it’s possible.
The latest GPU on the Pro and One X can support 60 fps. Very few games put the workload on the CPU hence final fantasy 15, just cause 3, and Assassin creed. Sure the CPU can be a bottleneck on some games because of poor optimization. Majority of games are GPU driven. Go to digital foundry, they found out that the unpatched version of assassin’s creed unity can run at a steady 45-60 FPS on the One X because it had unlocked frame rates.
You mean “when developers decide to unlock the frame rate on games for consoles, then we can have a discussion.”
Because it’s locked to 30 FPS from coding on consoles, not because the hardware.
Witcher 3 is locked at 30 FPS on consoles. It has to do with coding, not poor hardware.
Power and OPTIMIZATION...everyone forgets this part of the variable. High end PC sound great on paper, but how many games are truly taking advantage of the hardware when coding for PC is poorly optimized for a lot of games?
There are exclusives on Xbox. I’ll keep preaching this again and again. Average gamers buys multiplatform games on both these platforms. Stupid exclusive narrative and moving goal posts.
I’ll wait for the digital foundry comparions of multiplatform games. Everything from Digital Foundry has been great for the Xbox One X so far. I’m expecting the same results when comparing multiplatform games. They have been complaining about PS4 Pro barebone upgrade to only 1440p resolution, which that’s not what the machine was clearly marketed as, especially with MGS5 Pro patch.

Both consoles have exclusives. Majority of game sales are third party titles anyway so I don’t get the point of this narrative. Such a silly statement.
Anyway back on topic, the game looks amazing and looks like XboneX will have definite version of third party games. Of course it depends on developers.
Yoshida mention this years ago about the brand, market and industry changing. He even question the existence of PS5 and evolving old tradition of releasing consoles.
These fanboy comments make me laugh. It’s basically a ‘no s*** sherlock’ moment. Of course PS5 will be powerful since it will be the latest console to release soon. Other than making it a pun on Xbox, is there any other point to make that statement?
It’s on both sides. Exclusive games aren’t what the average gamer buys (except Nintendo). On PS4 and Xbox, majority of 3rd party titles always top the charts. First party titles on PS4 and Xbox will take top spots for a few weeks and completely drop in favor of another FIFA, Madden or Grand Theft Auto. All these comment are just fanboy talks. Everything is subjective
Last sentence of that comment was totally unnecessary and plenty of single player games on Xbox...don't be that person
Said that a few days ago that the major element in performance is optimization. It’s clearly showing the One X is a streamline beast that can run against PC because of poor optimization of hardware and software. One X might not look great on paper compared to PC, but it’s taking a run for it’s money
