It’s okay Timmy. When net neutrality is unfortunately removed, you’ll understand once ISP make more of a dent to your wallet 😂
That’s the problem though. It is about tribal politics no matter how it’s spinned. Each party have their own agenda and apparently this administration wants to dismantle everything the last administration has done. Which begs the question, how is this moving the U.S. forward?
Net neutrality is needed for equal access. Right now internet is classified as title II of the communications act of 1934. Which means the internet is treated like a public utility. Removing net neutrality means the FCC will change it over to a title I, which allows ISP control over their pipelines. Tethering your data and access to certain websites and services. Before conservatives knock me, take a look at Portugal. They have no net neutrality and the ISP divide the net up into package serv...
For anyone who thinks their reasoning is bullshit, look at what the average gamer buys...multiplayer games, micro transactions, DLC...I mean gamers set themselves up for this. It’s been years in the making.
EA portfolio is all about connectivity and online gaming. They don’t make good single player games anymore. Too much of a risk to them now.
@ruefrak
If you read my earlier comments, I mentioned exactly what you’re saying. Disney/Lucasfilm have control over their property aka character, stories, universal. You’re basically agreeing with everything I said earlier so why you disagree and have to poke the bear...who the h*** knows...
Everything you’re discribing is exactly how licensing your property works lol. It’s a long process...I can attest from experience working with Lucasfilm
EA is the cause of Visceral’s closure and canceling the Star Wars game. If you remember, it open a can of worms about the single player games convo. Lucasfilm has nothing to do what EA has done.
@CrimzonRazor
The point dumahim is making is Disney/Lucasfilm don’t have creative control over gaming mechanics. So to blame them for the micro transactions, you might as well blame them for other s*** they’re not involved in either...
@EDMIX
So you’re discrediting my credentials that I’ve worked with Disney/Lucasfilm in licensing then?
Okay bud. Probably the dumbest reply I’ve ever heard on here. Go ahead with your agenda. The evidence is mounting you don’t understand how licensing process in corporate businesses work. Disney/Lucasfilm isn’t going to comment on another company’s game mechanics/process like micro transactions, game modes, DLC, FPS mechanics. It isn’t Disney/Lucasfilms’ ...
@EDMIX
I’m not going to waste my time disputing with someone that has no clue what they’re talking about and creating hypotheticals. Read my earlier comment on here. The blogger who wrote this article doesn’t get it either. It’s lengthy and explains the licensing process in detail for your viewing pleasure.
That’s what happens when you have a blogger instead of a journalist. Stupid people will sadly eat this up because they don’t know better.
Lucasfilm/Disney doesn’t check on the product. They check on their property only.
@CrimzonRazor
Your comment don’t make any sense. You obvious don’t understand business.
I worked with Lucasfilm on licensing after the Disney deal was made. I’ll say the approval process is long and very detailed oriented. Lucasfilm/Disney only checks to make sure the characters, universe, and stories are in par with their vision. Of course, they’re the gatekeepers and want to make sure their property is being handle at the highest quality. Lucasfilm doesn’t get involved with the product their property is being displayed on. I highly doubt they knew anything about the gaming mec...
Basically...It’s A TRAP!
Screw this. I’m not falling for this crap. They got me on day one battlefront 1 release. Fool me once. Not again. I’ll wait until they fix the problem...probably never
@Sunny_D
“Also Fact: Not native 4K”
Thank you for letting us know that the PS4 Pro isn’t native 4K. It’s very dynamic.
I doubt the opinion will change in regards to comparison. Digital Foundry is really impress with one x.
It has games. It’s just games you’re not interested in.
Games still cost $60 - 80 when PlayStation fanboys were playing 480p on PS2, PS1...man let’s add other consoles like n64, Super Nintendo, genesis, and Nintendo...your point?
5 things that PS4 Pro can’t actually commit or perform compare to the One X. If those are the reasons you look invest into a console, then more power to you.
Wait until you have to pay up. Are you going to blame government too?
