Haha look at the disagreea. I thought the exact same thing though.
Have you ever played a gta game before? The cars most certainly dont handle like gokarts...
Oh settle your melodrama down for fucks sake. OHH NOO! OPTIONAL (notice that key word OPTIONAL?) IN-GAME PURCHAAAASSSESSSS?!?!?!
What, like 75% of the fuckin games released today? But hey, I guess you neckbeard man children didnt have anything to whine about your favourite hobby today yet? "Gamers" make me want to puke.
So why the fuck would they make them explode so easily in the trailer?
No one is "making" you do anything. You do realize you have a choice if you want to buy it or not right?
@EeJLP
Hahahaha why do you have so many disagrees? What you said is logical and......ohhhhhh wait. Wait it is because it is a comment directed towards neckbeard pc owners. I forgot. They are incredibly sensitive.
And for what reason would you want that? Both the ps4 and the xbox one (and pc's) use the disc just to install the game. After that the disc is used to authenticate while the game runs off the harddrive. So why exactly would you want a far expensive alternative to an issue that doesnt even exist?
That is what these people dont get. The fact Nintendo used cartridges for the n64 kicked off the STILL continuing trend of next to no third party support on their consoles. Im assuming most of the commentors here are under age 16?
Or how about the one guy suggesting Nintendo use cartridges for their games and ALSO have a disc drive for third parties......what?! Do ANY of these people here realize that discs are merely a delivery device nowadays since the games run off the dis...
What the hell does the shipping cost and double tax have to do with the Rift? Nothing. Once again a bunch of neckbeard man children whining over bullshit.
Finally. A comment filled with common sense in a section drowning in uninformed shit masquerading as "fact".
Are you under the age of 16? If so you mightve missed the time when Sega and Sony were both moving forward with disc based systems while Nintendo stubbornly started their bullshit trend of doing whatever they want instead of what consumers and developers want.
Nintendo stuck with cartridges and they havent recovered since. Many developers just refused to port games over to the n64. A trend that still continues to this day due to decisions that border on retarded.
You do realize that all the new systems (ps4, xbox and pc even) all run their games off of the harddrive right? The disc is literally a delivery device....
@TheCommentator
How the fuck does your comment have 10 disagrees? I am assuming those people are under the age of 16 and werent even alive when Nintendo started losing its way with consumers and third party devs...
All that doesnt matter if the cost isnt right. And right now the cost ISNT right. A bluray disc is pennies to manufacture compared to the many dollars that a cartridge would be. It isnt going to happen.
Im not sure if Nintendo could cause a bigger backlash from third parties than they already have but going with cartridges would be a big step.
How is that greedy? Do you know what the definition of greedy is? They are running a business where the goal is to maximize profits. They arent your friends. They arent here to lend a hand, they are here to make money.
Considering that development costs have increased massively while game prices have stayed much the same decade after decade, something had to give.
Greed this is not.
And? What exactly does that have to do with the prices of games. What all these whining nerds forget is that videogames are a hobby. An absolutely USELESS hobby that has no bearing on how a person survives. Considering the prices of games hasnt changed much in decades and the fact the U.S. pays basically the same as Canadians at $85 this doesnt seem like a big deal.
There isnt really an argument for pirating in the end though. A company produces a product to be sold and you just download it without paying. How can that be defended?
Alright man, keep it up scumbag. The next time someone steals from you I guess you can chalk it up to just "copying" since you dont have the original?
@n4rc
That isnt the same thing at all. I highly doubt everyone who pirates a game is studying how the game was programmed, reverse engineering it and then coding the game themselves and playing it.
Literally the closest analogy to pirating is stealing.
Go play the other two and it just might change your mind. While they were certainly "different" back when they came out ultimately they were tedious. Boring even. The rose colored glasses people have on for the Shenmue games is nuts. These games are MASSIVELY overrated.
